180 days out question

Now that we can secure our ADRs 180 days out, can you do this prior to having your resort reservation made? We are going in June and my 180 day mark is fast approaching. I'm not planning to make my resort reservation for a while. Can I still book my ADRs?

From what I have read, you can get the 180 days without a reservation, but you can't get the 180 + 10 that resort guests get. (meaning you can call at 180 days and get reservations for the next 10 days all at once)

Ooooo--tricky aren't they! Well, luckily I only have boys, so 180 days out ought to be fine. Thanks so much! I wonder if things fill up that quickly now?!
