180 days and made dining and reservations!

Today is our 180 day mark and I made all of our dining reservations on line. This is the first time I used the online system and it worked fine!!!! My only hesitation is not knowing what nights there is Spectromagic and Wishes so I can coordinate for dinner close to or in MK. I just took a guess and if it doesn't work out I guess we may have to try and change a ressie or get park hoppers. Haven't decided if I want to get them or not for this trip yet. Still one step closer to coming home again.

If I understand correctly, you can make ADR 10 days out but cannot call 180 days from the start of your reservation, right? So if we arrive on 11/11, I can't call until 5/11 (wed)? But I can then make ADRs for our entire 9 day trip?

When you say online system do you mean through the members website?

180 days from 11/11 is not 5/11. It is 5/15. It is 180 days, not 6 months like making DVC reservations.

You make them on the Disney site, not the DVC site.

I'm surprised that Wishes and Spectro for mid November are not already published - have either of you checked the calendars to see? They usually are announced with the hours or very close to it.

Edited - I just checked one site (easywdw) and Wishes and MSEP (not Spectro -I forgot) are published for those dates in November already.

We are going on 11/5 -11/12. There is a calculator that tells you what day to call - I think there is a link on the restaurant page here...So, my 180 day mark was today - so without checking the link I think yours would be 6 days after mine to be able to call since you are arriving 6 days after me. Then yes you can make the ADR for at least 7 days of your trip - not sure about 9 or 10......Online system is through the WDW website NOT the memebers website. Good luck!!!!

I checked there too. I had not seen that website before so I was not sure how reliable it was for the dates. It does state on there that they are not guaranteed just predicted. It is very nice though with a lot of information!

The hours & events are published on wdwinfo as well and other locations too. It's only Disney's site that doesn't seem to go beyond 10/31 (and I only checked one Disney site place). The Travel Agent calendar has been published so it's pretty certain that those will be the hours & events, unless Disney changes things, which is always a possibility even after it's published on the Disney site.

If you check the Theme Parks board, there is a sticky thread about "when will park hours be posted" where you can always get the links to the Travel Agent calendar - that is the most reliable, and where most of the other sites get their info.

We are planning to go to MK on Sunday, 11/6 and it looks like there is Wishes that night - so I will be very happy if that is correct!!!!! We are going to eat at Crystal Palace that night too. It is our son's favorite restaurant and we skipped it last year. It will be our "only" character dining reservation. We got every restaurant that we wanted so I am happy!
