Ok I am trying this post again.

For those that have booked already at the 180 day point, are you feeling any type ,of I guess for lack of a better word, a slight let down now. It just seems that now the next milestone to look forward to is final payment which is for me not until the middle of March.

I think that since last Saturday I have been on the phone with WDW everyday up until yesterday tweaking the plans that I made, now I need to leave well enough alone.

It just seems that making ADR's at the 90 day point, made the time until final paymant and the actual trip go so fast. Now it seems that it will drag.

Any thoughts?

We go in May....I thought I still had 3 months to go, was just easing into planning, then WHAM! I had about 4 days until my 180 day mark.

But, I am NOT complaining, I got everything I wanted when I wanted, CRT lunch, SBP lunch, BD Fantasmic, CP lunch, Pirate cruise...etc. etc. I made 10 ADR's.

So, now I think I will take another break, then start planning our days!

180 days IS a long time when anticipating an upcoming meal!!!
Personaly , I always thought 90 days was a long time, but I always wound up doing most of my ADR's at the first "window" opportunity.
Now--I'm not sure if I'll take advantage of the 180 days, or wait as I used to do until about 90 days out.

I am a little bummed about having to plan our summer trip meals so far in advance. With the old schedule I first booked the hotel, looked for airfare, decided on meals, planed our days. These steps gave me small things to look forward to.

I am right there with you. I always felt like 90 days was a "bearable" amount of time to survive until a Disney trip. Especially since at that point I usually still have to look for flights, and read up on some trip reports for our travel time. I feel like 180 days is unbearable because after I make the ADR's, I get sooo excited about eating at those restaurants, and having to wait 180 days to do so is too long!

I agree...the planning is part of the fun...It was always spread out...you planned when you were going, then the resort and booked it, then you waited and planned restaurants, then you were able to make ADRs, then the hours came out and you planned your days and adjusted.....It was a nice spread out time to plan. Now, everything has to be done at once almost! Takes some of the fun away....

Although, when planning a WDW trip, you can only take out so much fun...it's fun anyway! :rotfl:
