So, I know about the 180 rule for making ADRs, but I've seen a few threads around here mentioning 180+10 for those in Resrorts. Can anyone explain if that really exists :confused3 and to what it applies??

Much thanks! :goodvibes

180 + 10 means that you can make all your ADR's on the 180 day mark of your trip a a trip that is 10 days or less. If you are staying longer than 10 days, you have to wait for the 180 days of day 11 of the trip.)

180 plus 10 was put into place so you don't have to call every day to make a reservation 180 days out.

It doesn't mean that you call at 170 days.

Keep in mind that just because you call at 7a on your 180 day doesn't guarantee that you will get b-fast at CRT for your exact time and date. Remember that date already fell into place for other people for their 180 plus 10.

I'm re-reading this and it sounds soo confusing.

No, no! This makes total sense to me. Thank you SO MUCH for clearing it up for me. Had I not asked this, I'd be sitting on the phone at 5AM on day 170.:rotfl:

Yep! We're staying at BCV on December 15th-22nd. I called at 7am on June 18th (180days out from dec. 15th) and made ADRs for the whole week of our trip. It doesn't guarantee that you'll get everything you when you want it. We had to go all the way to friday the dec. 21st before they found a table for our group at Le Cellier.
