180 + 10 question, two devices?

Is there any way to make sure that we can book our +10 when we hit 180 on Monday? Everything appears to be linked, reservation shows up in our My Disney Experience- I am just worried because we have a large group and trying to get a few will be hard enough without a glitch on Monday. Whatever happens happens, but I am trying to set it all up to go as smoothly as possible.

Also, if I am on the computer making reservations, does it work to also have our phones making others? My

I was able to use both the computer and iPad at the same time when I was making my 180+10 reservations. I had my DD helping me and I just had a list from most wanted/hardest to get to easiest and we checked them off as we booked them. For some reason, the computer was working much better/faster for us though. So, I think it is a good idea to use two devices just to see what will load faster for you.

We had the ipad, computer, laptop, cell phones. Signed in at 5:30 am; had the credit card info added, dining plan, tickets, everything at the ready. The online reservations did not work at all. Nothing we did got it to work. We tried google, google chrome, firefox, IE, apple mac, nothing.
If this happens to you DO NOT DESPAIR!
At exactly 7:00 am we were on the phone, held for around 15 minutes and got everything we wanted. Once we learned the online reservations wouldn't work, we prioritized. CRT first, BOG next, and so on. One thing I did do was to look at the restaurants that were booking (days before our reservation window opened) and noted which restaurants were fully booked, and which ones had plenty of available times.
Go for the hard to get ones first, start booking from the end of your vacation forward. Remember, everyone who has been booking for the several days before your 180 opened up have been possibly booking the early days of your vacation. My vacation starts November 28 and I didn't even try for reservations on the 28th or 29th. We have our MVMCP booked for the 2nd and I went straight for that one for CRT. The 3rd is the only day later in our stay with no Christmas Party/early close, so I went for BOG that day. It works, and someone said that they possibly hold back some reservations for the phone in and it may be a fact because we were able to get BOG (on the phone at 7:20) while some people who booked online at 6 am weren't able to get it just minutes into the window opening. I also had the pleasure of watching all the BOG times disappear while we frantically tried to get the online system working and they do go quickly! At the same time, since I had figured to get the dining reservations at 6 am and the phone reservations at 7 am, it didn't go as planned so while I was on one phone making dining reservations, my son was on another phone securing the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the MK and the Pirates League reservations.

Thank you! Now that we are checking into all of this, our phone app is off by a day (only showing times for 179 days?). Whatever the reason, we cannot fix it before 6am!!
Here we go! :)

It went fine! We did not get Be Our Guest, no surprise there! We have an earlier Fantasmic package than we had hoped but we got one by calling, so we were happy! They weren't any left for Brown Derby online but Jason phoned in and they had one on the phone, which surprised me.
Other than that, we got the places that we had hoped for and now wait to book Candlelight package! I had hoped to do Teppan Edo, but a casual conversation with the kids (they do not know we are going yet because the youngest has a severe heart problem and we do not ever mention things because it gets moved so frequently)- anyway, Jason got out of them that there favorite restaurant was Coral Reef because Joanna (the youngest) was so excited about the turtles. Can't argue with that- we will book Coral Reef. We are so fortunate to be able to take this trip at Christmastime and I am hoping we can get there safely and smoothly.

SO the online 180 + 10 days system is not working?

Thats the first I heard of it.

Just for fun, the others that we booked were:
8am Crystal Palace
Raglan Road (my husbands favorite!)
Akershus
Cape May Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern (family favorite!)
Tusker house
Sanaa
Coral Reef (will replace with Candlelight package)

We were trying to do meals at a few hotels to enjoy the decorations!

Oh, it was working! The app on our phones wasn't working so we played it safe and just used the computer.

I understand! My husband and I finished in about 20 minutes and couldn't believe that we have spent the last month obsessing over something that took 20 minutes to make official. lol. It is amazing how fast some things book- just go in with realistic hopes and know that you can't really go wrong in Disney!

You have a great lineup! Just check 60 days out and try for the BOG fast pass for lunch. (I believe it is 60 days out) Someone also mentioned going to lunch on standby at Spring Break and not waiting that long - 15 to 30 minutes. We also chose the Coral Reef for our Epcot/Candlelight Processional (when they start booking it).
Orph, last week when my window opened there were some major glitches going on. Online worked for some, not for others. It didn't work for me.
Page 2 has several threads about it. Here's one:

Yes, 6:00 am EST. 7:00 am EST for the phone lines. Phone lines are successful, too. I called at 7, was on hold around 15 minutes and got everything I wanted including BOG and that was not the first reservation I went for. (Party of 6)

Actually, if you have your heart set on BOG, if you do not get it via computer, I would call at 7. I watched all the reservations disappear while online, but when I called, they had one! I booked later in the vacation. We are there Friday the 28th through Friday the 5th and I went for CRT on the 2nd first (got it!) and BOG on the 3rd next (got it!) Prioritizing is important! I checked daily before my window came open to see what restaurants still had availability after all the hard to get places were gone, and I booked those last (H&V lunch, Liberty Tree dinner, Boma dinner, Coral Reef dinner - though I went for that one 3rd, 1900 Park Fare breakfast) I have small children in my party so I wanted specific times, and with the exception of BOG - 7:15 - I got them all via phone. If you want the Tommorrowland Terrace Dessert Party, Illuminations Dessert Party, Fantasmic dinner package, Victoria & Alberts, lunc with an Imagineer or Epcot After Hours, or breakfast at MK before hours, they must be high up on the list as well.
