Today was our 180 day for booking dining. I was fully prepared to have to call in our reservation to get the "+10" availability; however I am happy to report I was able to book at 10 days online via the old web site at 6:00 am.

We were able to get Be Our Guest and Ohana and our Thanksgiving Day reservations at Cape May.

My strategy was to use the old web site. I read about this possibility here on the Disboards (sorry, I wish I could give credit but I've long forgotten the post). I used Google Chrome and cleared all cookies and browsing history. Then I went to: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_GB/. I used the menu on the opening page selecting (on the left of the page) "I am looking for: Dining". When I attempted to use the menu at the top of the page it linked to the new dining web page that would not permit the +10 booking. I had to sign in. I was later prompted to enter my resort reservation number. I did receive a few error messages during the process, but persistence paid off and I was able to make 10 days of dining reservations.

All of the reservations appear on the online "My Disney Experience" and I was able to associate all party members.

I hope this helps in some way. We had a few top reservations that we really wanted to be sure to get, especially since this will be a busy time at the parks.

I am sorry, I don't understand the 180+10? Can we not book all our reservations at the 180 mark?

Thanks for sharing, I will have to try this when my reservation window opens next month :)

Thanks, Doug - it's good to know that it can be done online. I still have a while before I can make ADRs for our December trip (only want BOG & CG) and have been hoping the computer issues would get fixed. The old site would be a good back up if it keeps working.

So do we make them at 180 or 190? Which is the +10. I guess I don't know about the +10. We always stay at our DVC.

The current policy is that anyone can book a dining accommodation 180 days from the date of their reservation.
If you have a Resort reservation (meaning you stay at a Disney Resort, by paying full price or using DVC benefits) you have an extra 10 days (190 days total) to book a dining reservation.

So start taking advantage of that pixie dust! :cheer2:

I was excited when I found out about this.

Its kind of confusing. You can still only book ADRs 180 days from the FIRST day of your trip; however, at that time, you can also book up to the next 10 days of you trip.

For example, We will arrive on November 30th. 180 days before that is June 3rd. That is the day we can make ADRs, but at that time we can do it for the whole trip. We don't have to wait until June 4th to book ADRs for December 1st, June 5th for December 2nd, and so on...

Are you sure? Because I am really confused
I thought it meant I could make 10 days worth of ADRs at my 180 day mark so I don't have to call back every day for 10 days.

No, that's not right. I just tried. No matter what I do, it won't let me book any dining because we're 182 days out from our first night. :crazy2:

So you have to wait till the 180 day mark. And you'll be able to book up to 10 days of dining.

That is correct... The beginning of your 180 day mark remains the same but the benefit is you can book the entire length of your trip at the 180 day mark (up to +10). Most find BOG available especially towards then end of the +10 window if you are interested in booking there. Hope that helps...

That's what I thought. PP had me all confused thinking they had changed something.

I don't book until Monday there better be some reservation left. I'm a little nervous to use the old system. I had no problem getting into My Disney Experience and looking up my reservation, etc... I'll be prepared to use both.

We have two more days of our trip to book so I'm going to be online tomorrow morning for day 11. I did just check and there are BOG reservations still available for Thanksgiving Day.

Just trying to decide if we made the right choice for Thanksgiving Dinner. We are at Cape May. Anyone have thoughts?

A very big thanks for this post b/c I had done my research and was able to use your link to the old site to make all my Reservations for our Thanksgiving trip!!! When I logged on this morning the new site would only allow me to reserve for the 1st day of our trip. Thanks again!!!:cool1:

My 180+10 was on Memorial Day and it was a very frustrating process. I tried the new system and it was SLOW. I was able to logon then, I clicked on Making Dining Reservations but it would take FOREVER for the calendar to load, etc... I even went over to the old site but my IPAD-Safari would force me to the new site. I couldn't get my Safari to accept the web address I was typing. Anyways, after 50 minutes of playing around with the site I was able to get BOG on Wedesday of our for 4:20 pm. Then, I tried to do another reservation and it timed out on me. At that point it was time to call in which I did but I was on hold for one hour. I'm sure more people were calling because the online system did not work. While I was on hold I was able to make one more dining reservation. Then, I did the rest with the rep. It took me a long time with the rep. She had a hard time finding my reservation, etc.. I swear we spent like 20 minutes dealing with that. Then, we did the rest of the reservations which took 10 minutes. But then, I realized that I had one of the dates wrong after I hung up on the phone. So, I cancelled the reservation and attempted to reschedule it on the correct day. I spent a 1/2 hour on it before I gave up and went to sleep. So, from start to finish took me 3 hours. Totally not worth it. I still need to make the CandleLight Processional meal when they are released.
