180+10 days not showing

My booking window just opened.
We're staying from Sep 8th and I can't book anything past 7 days.
Anyone know what is going on?

There is so much already booked up, I've already missed a few I needed (Storybook Dining for our Wedding Anniversary is gone for Sept 11)

Are you staying onsite? Try doing it off the app on your phone if you're trying the website or vice versa. If nothing works you'll probably need to call to book they are already open.

And is your onsite stay more than 7 days? It's 180+length of stay up to 10 days.

My length of stay is 20 days
I did it on the website and on the app. Still only allows 7 days.
I called and was told that it is because I'm doing a split stay.
I didn't think it mattered, but apparently it does.
We are renting DVC points.

I think split stays have always worked like that for ADRs, with separate booking windows for each reservation. And now it's the same for FP+ windows.

Yes split stays for ADR's are always handled that way. You can book from 180 days - check out day of each leg of your stay, starting with each check-in day. Doesn't matter if you're staying DVC or regular room.

Once upon a time, split stays were treated differently

Now once your stay ends it endS. Until the next one starts. It’s a pain but it is what it is

Fast passes are now the same as ADR. You will have separate booking days for each stay of your split stay.

I had the same problem recently with my split stay ADR window and it took me by surprise. A lot of new changes this year for us Disney peeps.

Split stay ADRs have been like this for years so it's nothing new. When you go to make fast passes that'll be new where you won't be able to make for the entire length of trip.

It was not the case when we did our split stay in Aug 2017. I was able to make them for entire stay with same window and we were there for 2 weeks. And yeah, I just found out about the FP window changing as well.

It might have been a glitch in your favor then because this policy has been in effect since before that.

We have a trip in May coming up, split stay between two different DVC properties (rented points) PLUS a night tacked on to the end of the trip at the Dolphin. I was able to book all of our FP's for the entire trip as soon as our window opened, which surprised be since everything I've ever read indicates that shouldn't be the case! No complaints from me - I was glad to be able to do it all at once.

If I recall correctly, the FP booking limitations do not apply to DVC stays because split stays are so common

That was what was odd, because it let me book for my the time during my stay at the Dolphin as well -
