180+10 ADRs and Split Stays

Our 180 day point was today and I called WDE-DINE. I'm doing a split stay. One night at Pop bc we arrive late. Four nights BLT and 4 nights FTW Cabins.

My first ADR was for the Pop check-out/BLT check-in date. The CM wouldn't make my first reservation or any reservations. She told me that I had to call 180 days from the BLT check-in date to book ADRs in that block of dates, then call 180 days from FTW Cabins check-in date to book ADRs during those dates.

Is this the way 180+10 works if you change resorts during your WDW trip? Or is this a CM's interpretation? It sure wasn't what I expected.

I had a similar problem today! Didn't realize when booking online it wouldn't allow me to book all the way through and cut off at my check out of the 1st resort. I called in and the person booked the rest of the reservations for me over the phone. I didn't have any issues and had to talk to 2 CM's (due to phone call dropping). I would call back and try someone else....

Yes - I can confirm this!
On Monday I had to call for my ADRs (online would not work for me) and even though I had 2 separate DVC reservations, the CM on the phone booked all of my ADRs, for my entire length of stay.

I was encouraged by your posts, so I called again. CM said she would do all my ADRs after I explained my split stay. After taking ADRs for the second resort, and on to the third, however, the "system" wouldn't accept the bookings. At least I got one done for check-out of the first stay. Since you two had success with your split stays, it seems to be about who you get to handle your call. Some apparently know what to do, others do not. I will try again tomorrow am.

Good luck! Weird that the system wouldn't accept the reservations? They had no trouble with my 2nd stay ones. Yay for going at the same time

I called at 7AM and was on hold for 45 min. The CM who picked up made all my ADRs for both portions of my split stay. She said it was no problem to do that. (Then why was it a No-Go for the other CMs? ) I got all my choices, roughly the time I wanted. At the very end, I asked about BOG. I was afraid there wouldn't be anything available. Happily, I got BOG booked for a good time and date. I guess the third time's the charm!
