This wouldn't be nearly so excruciating if we weren't already paying full price for the DDP as it is. We're going from August 12th through the 21st (and as teachers, we don't have the option to go during the school year, when we can get the plan free).

Any advice as to how we can pretend to be British and get the deal during those dates for UK residents?

Majority of people on the dining plan do not get it for free and pay the tip outside of the plan as well. Of course it was a better deal when tip and app was included but it changed so we are responsible for paying the tip with good service. We are going in October, not free dining this year and decided to opt out of the dining plan. We are eating at 3 TS meals and the rest CS meals or off site, mainly to do with saving money and the not spending all of are time eating..I hope you have a great time when you go, and no I don't know of a way to cheat and say you are British!!
