Got up early again as i just cant stop waking at about 5 oclock, wandered to the internet room, did a few emails and chatted to the night guys about the game i was going to that night. When leander got up, we had a bit of breakfast and walked down to wal-mart again to load up for our week at disney. This time we took our time walking around and picked up all sorts of food and drink. We got back and decided to have lunch at chillis where leander had the chicken fajitas and i had the trio of steak,chicken and king prawn. It was really good and well-sized, so back in the hotel it was a case of lying down for a couple of hours before going to watch the orlando magic. I had worked out a deal with one of the universal desk boys who drove for a cab firm , to take us back and forth to the amway arena and to the port orleans in the morning for 120 dollars all-in. We went about 5 ish to the arena an it was absolutely bouncing in the car park and the forecourt with music blaring and people having a great time. The game itself was the most amazing experience ive ever been to, with play-off basketball being the pinnacle of the season and ive been to two games before, an nfl regular game and countless rugby internationals and ive never been so excited during an event. This was such a perfect way to draw the curtain on the first part of the holiday and although the eleven days were over, we still had the disney week to go. i worked out that we spent $1400 dollars on the card and $1000 dollars cash. All food came out of that $1000 because that was what it was for. We bought a lot of shopping but went down the road of buying many and cheap. Also, factor in the game, the helicopter, the cabs, (the ice-cream) and im not that beat-up over it. The total for dining out which is only the restaurant bills and not snacks etc, came to $566. So you can go to restaurants and not spend a fortune, although if i added up all the drinks in the park and the ice-creams, pastries you buy on the run, well the figure would be higher but i wanted you all to get a perspective on what your restaurant bills can come to.

i would love to do a magic game but we always seem to be in orlando out of season.

we caught a regular season game against cleveland 5 years ago and two years ago, they were playing the day we got there and then as it was the play-offs, detroit had the better record so even though orlando had beaten toronto, they had to wait for detroit to come through. the first 2 games were played away in detroit and we were gutted as wd followed them for 2 years online and on sky!
