We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside three days before the cruise.

For those of you who may be in the middle of the winter storm, I pray that you all stay safe and as warm as possible, and that the snow doesn't last too long. Keep thinking of this wonderful cruise we are all taking and hopefully that will keep you warm!

Well, I went ahead and booked our hotel for the night before the cruise. Decided to park at the Port this time, so we booked the Port Parking package at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach, which includes a 40% off voucher for port parking.

Anyone else have their room booked for the night before the cruise? If so, which hotel have you decided on?

Thanks for letting us know about this.... I just checked their website and now we have to decide if we should leave our car there and have the shuttle take us to the pier (round trip) or park our car at the pier. It's cheaper to do the former but then you are subject to the hotel's schedule. We have no problem staying at a Hampton Inn so that's where we may wind up.

I agree it's cheaper to park at the hotel and take the shuttle than using the Port Parking package, but since I decided I want to park at the Port anyway, at least I'll get the 40% off of parking.

We have sailed once before on the Fantasy (during which time we got engaged-on semi formal night!). Late to the party. but we are in. in two week I have moved around three cruise dates. ARGHHH. My dad had cancer and we are taking one last hurrah as a family before things turn really south. He starts chemo next week. And if all goes well, we will be relaxing with you all in October.

So what are everyone's plans for excursions. I believe we will only do an excursion in Cozumel. We will do the Cozumel Beach Break through DCL. We went there in 2007 on our cruise on the Magic and had fun, but they have expanded the facilities since then, and it really looks great. In Grand Cayman I believe we will get off of the ship and shop at the port and then return to the ship. On our last cruise in 2013, we did the Tiki Beach excursion which was okay, but it got us back so late, we didn't have time to shop. In Jamaica I think we will do the same. Just get off of the ship and shop and then return to enjoy the ship. We are down to 236 days!!!

Hello Everyone! My fiance are in the middle of working out the details with a TA right now, but we will joining y'all on this cruise! It will be our HONEYMOON!! This is my fiances first cruise ever, it's my first Disney cruise, only ever done one before and it was on a high school trip. After the cruise, we will spend 2 days at Harry Potter World. We are super excited!!

Welcome!! We are so happy you found us!! The FE here is the same as the one on fb... I excited for your 1st Disney cruise.. Last year was our first and I felt like I was going to pass out from excitement when I was on board and going up the steps to the aqua duck!! Haa haa

We are giving up the parks this year to do the 7 night (did 4 night cruise and 3 night Disney on previous cruise). Think it will be worth it especially with all the construction at the parks. So, been a while since I've posted on the boards. Can't seem to get it to show my recent posts...all seem to be in random order, but I do want to get in on the FE list if still being added to. Thanks! Possibly some other family members attending, but in our room - me, husband, daughter that will turn 10 on cruise, and son that is 5.

I wish I could get other family members to cruise with us. This is our 4th DCL cruise for my DD and myself. We cruised on the Magic in Oct 2007 with my late husband, on the Dream in June 2011, and on the Fantasy in Oct 2013 with my Aunt. Looking forward to cruising on the Fantasy again this year.
