Hi Everyone: Any thoughts about the best way to get 17 people (adults and children) from the airport to the Port? We're all arriving on the same flight and planning to stay in the Port area the night prior to the cruise. Previously we've used the Disney transport (which we feel would be too costly for this size group) and a limo (when the group was just a few families). Does anyone run a small mini bus or other ideas from all you experienced travelers? Thanks!

He primarily uses vans to get people around. I bet he can help you out. I have not used him personally, but have heard good things about his service.

We will be sailing in Sept. with 18 in our group I (we) will be using Southern Comfort Transporation asked fro Charlie 904-535-3202. Hope this help you

Happylimo has a 14 passenger sprinter van. You could get that and a towncar. Put 14 in the van and 3 in the towncar. There will be plenty of room for luggaga in the van. Price that out and then price out a limo that will hold all of you, they have them for up to 20 something people. The big limo's are usually a lot of money. The 14 pass. van and the towncar will be the cheapest way.

You might try renting 2 large passenger vans. I think they hold 10 people. We're renting a passenger van which holds 8 from Thrifty for 1 1/2 days at a cost of around $110. Thrifty only charges $10 extra for the different drop off. Just a different option.

NEVER in a million years would any of our large traveling group ever use HappyLimo again. Not even if it was free. I would suggest van service like FL Tours to the port, very pleasant to use.

You can rent a 12 passenger van from Budget at MCO, do two runs with it (are your 17 people coming from the same plane, anyway?), dropping off your passengers at the port, and then drop it at the cape canaveral (CC5), and take a free shuttle to the port. I think that would cost you about $110, plus gas (and maybe taxes?), but there may be extra mileage charges. I don't think you can beat that price wise, but it's tough on the driver.

Budget has a website, ans a 800 number- you can check it yourself.

Never in a million years would I use FL Tours :) They charge per person for a van when you go over 7 people. Why I don't know. I guess you have had a bad experiance with Happylimo. I recommended them because I think they are the only ones with that type of van. I have only used them once and had a good experiance. We actually got up-graded to a stretch navigatror.
