Within a handful of minutes we were seated and trying to make the agonizing decisions of what to eat and what to skip.
Aladdin chose the lump crab cakes with Asian tarter sauce and pineapple relish and fresh greens.
I must say, he made an excellent choice and I was very appreciative when he let me "borrow" a few bites! I chose to have the tempura shrimp roll. It was also very good (although I really did love those crab cakes!). The spicy sauce was perfectly paired with the rice/shrimp. It made for a very tasty appetizer. All of the boys thought so too when they shared in a taste test.
Dh stuck with his favorite appetizer, the wings. His glazed chicken wings had a drizzle of tangy mustard sauce and toasted sesame seeds on the wings themselves and came with enough "greens" to make a small side salad. He really enjoyed them. They were his favorite chicken wings of the trip (and he ate lots of them).
The middle boys each started out with a garden salad. Nothing special, but they both downed them without complaint. Both of them also helped me out with the tempura shrimp roll.
Goofy also happily helped dh out with some of those sticky wings.
While we were waiting for our main courses,
Stitch doodled on his kid's menu and then showed off his gallery of imaginary creatures. All of which were teeth!

What sort of a kid has teeth as imaginary friends?! HA HA HA...Proudly, my son!

He must get his strange ways from dh. Hee hee hee, okay, I admit it, it is more likely me that he gets his 'unique' streak from.
This may be a good time to mention that our
Little Prince was having some flirting fun of his own during our appetizers. By the time our server brought out our smoothies (everyone but
Aladdin and I had chosen to get a strawberry banana smoothie...we opted for bottled water and iced tea)she was asking if we had ever thought of arranging our
Little Prince's future marriage and offering up her 8 month old daughter if we should be so inclined.
Here is our
Little Prince trying (unsuccessfully) to stay awake.
Not sixty seconds later....
We all loved the umbrellas that came in our drinks. Something about a tiny little paper umbrella just makes you feel good deep down inside!
But back to what we had to eat!
For his main course dh chose the filet mignon served with mashed yukon gold potatoes and asparagus. He was VERY happy with his choice.
Aladdin dined upon the pomegranate BBQ pork chop which was served on pan-roasted fingerling potatoes and came with applewood smoked bacon with braised swiss chard. He also loved his meal!
Goofy and
Stitch both chose to have the fish of the day. It was grilled mahi-mahi. Instead of rice, they chose french fries as their side. Once again...another winner (or two should I say).
I myself went with the slow roasted prime rib which was served with mashed potatoes and stir-fried broccoli florets. I ate every bite! It was so very good! Even the broccoli tasted out of this world!
Sorry for forgetting to snap pictures of our main courses and desserts, I promise, I do get better at the food shots as our trip goes on.
Here you see a chocolate Lilo and Stitch who stand guard over the dessert choices.
Speaking of dessert choices...dh and
Aladdin both went with the Kona Kone. Huge waffle ice cream cones filled with ice cream and topped with candy, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and topped with a cherry. Did I mention the cotton candy wrapped around the base of the cone itself?! They were both VERY happy with their choice.
Goofy and
Stitch both went with a kid's sundae and highly enjoyed those.
I myself departed from the rest of them and chose to have the banana and chocolate crème brulee. OH ME, this was SOOOOOO good! I highly enjoyed every last drop of this one! It was divine!
By the end of our meal, I think we were all in need of a wheelbarrow to roll in or maybe even just a ramp to roll down.

Full and happy we took a slow stroll around the grounds of the Polynesian before heading back to our van and then the WL. Here is the last picture that I snapped of my guys on our way out of the resort. *Make note of the mini umbrellas.

Upon our return to the WL we headed for our room. After everyone was cleaned up and changed into our pajamas, the bigger boys turned on a Disney movie in the sitting room area while dh and our sleeping
Little Prince headed for the bedroom and turned on a football game. They all looked content, so I told them I would see them in the morning and snuck out. Before anyone starts to wonder if I roamed the WL in a nightgown,

let me clarify that I had on flannel pants and a t-shirt (still not "dressed to the nines" but presentable none the less). My first stop was the club lounge to pick up a cup of tea and a bottle (when asked, they had no problem with letting me take an entire huge glass bottle of water with me) of water. I also grabbed a few cookies to take along for later and a supply of cups and napkins. Then I was off to do a bit of shopping. I bought postcards, a fun Mickey Mouse pen, stamps, a paperback book and a warm Disney sweatshirt. Tucking my earlier plunder from the concierge lounge in my bag, I headed for the writing desk that we had found while we explored the lodge. It was here that I penned the postcards I wanted sent (using the postcards, stamps and pen I had just procured) and sipped on the tea (a very good caffeine free 'good night' tea btw) I had brought from the lounge.
Once my postcards were filled out, I threw on my new sweatshirt and took a walk down to the lobby and mailed them. As I did, I called dh on the lodge phone and he reported that our Little Prince was fast asleep, he was in the middle of a football game and the older boys were busy watching a movie. Hearing that and having seen my my well wishes (in the form of postcards) off, I headed back up to fourth floor and found the seating area surrounding the small (not small by normal standards but smaller than the monster sized one in the lobby) fireplace empty. I took advantage of it's emptiness and made myself at home. I kicked off my shoes (thankful I was wearing socks!), put my feet up, poured myself a cup of water, set a few cookies on a napkin within easy reach and then, so well settled, I cracked open my new book. About three hours later I reluctantly used a napkin for a bookmark and headed back to the room. As I crept in, I was happy to see that everyone was fast asleep (except for dh who was logged on to the internet and doing some work...ICK, work at WDW). In a few short minutes, I joined my little boys with dreams of what the day to come would hold...for us, it would be a day at EPCOT!
To be continued...
