Its easy to tell that this mom has never cared before what Janelle did at all, and now that she has a baby, she's trying to discipline where discipline has never been before. Like at jenelle's baby shower, when she told her to clean up jenelle said she was "way too tired" to clean, but not to tired to go out and party all night.
and the mom let it happen. I know that you have to pick your battles, but the fact of the matter is Janelle is not an adult and if she leaves without the mothers permission, she should have to face the consequences (which there are none.)
And in the scenes with Jenelle's mom and dad, every time jenelle's dad tries to talk, the mom screeches over him.
Jenelle has no consequences for anything she has ever done. She had a baby- mom takes care of it, she makes a mess-mom cleans it up, she yells at her mother-mom doesn't do anything.
Her mom reminds me a lot of farrah's mom. She's let this kid run the house for years, and decides to set up boundaries now, and it doesn't work.
jenelle also seems very uneducated about birth control. She said she and (i can't remember the boyfriends name?) got in a fight, so she stopped taking it. (
) and then they got back together and had sex, and didn't use a condom. Her thought process was later explained to be, "we had done it before, and i didn't get pregnant, so i didn't think i would get pregnant that time." she obviously doesn't understand that you're more likely to get pregnant at some times than at other times.
I really don't see this story ending well, and I feel bad for the baby, he didn't ask for this.
grandma pays for day care...and who puts a baby in day care at 3 weeks old?????
