coming into this a little late, sorry.....

the first girl i couldn't believe. i don't understand why the parents of these children say "i'm NOT watching the kid while you go out, sorry." i mean once in a while i can understand, but there's no way i'd be doing it everyday/weekend.

the second girl, idk HOW that mother is allowing her to still even see that boy. how old was he supposed to be? 16?? he acted more like 8!!

if i were the girl's mother, i would have slapped the boyfriend(Sorry, but i would have) and then told my daughter there's NO WAY IN HELL she would be seeing him anymore.

Probably because Kyla thinks that her love can change him and he wouldn't dare do that to her because she is so special. Girls/women want to think they are better then the girl/woman before. Some of these girls on this and last season's show really lack in self esteem. Farrah and Jenelle, they are just brats, but even Farrah seems to lack in self esteem.

very controlling until someone in more authority confronts him and challenges him. He's like a little kid stomping his feet for attention and tries to "bully" everyone into agreeing with him. I wanted to "WII" punch him....completely out! and how naieve is Nichole...too easily bullied and does not stand up for herself. It was so sad when her friend asked her if they used birth control and she said no, not ever, we used the pull out method!! Come on...immature and naieve. Her friend couldn't believe her response. I can understand her mom standing up for her....Nichole can't seem to do it for herself. She's nothing but a door mat to Josh. He needs to stop the mental and emotional abuse. He's not boyfriend material and definitely not a "father figure" in any way. Lil boy...that's what he is!

My DD's biological father started dating another girl when I was about 5 months pregnant. (They were both in my calculus class and sat together. Lovely to watch when I wasn't running from the room to vomit every 20 minutes. ) They dated for the entire school year and broke up right before graduation. She came up to me at an event to talk/apologize. Her excuse for dating him was that he told her (and everyone else) that the reason he wasn't involved with me or my child was that I broke up with him and refused any financial or emotional support.

OMG, I am so disgusted with that jerk!! How can anyone say that about their own child?
I think she is doing a great job, she is trying her best. She went out for 1 stinkin night, the baby was cared for and she came home early to be back with her child.
I am teary-eyed for her....poor thing!

My understanding is she lives in Vermillion, SD with her dad. Her mother lives in Sioux Falls, SD (Apx 1 hr drive). I was shocked at the text message. I hope MTV will show a good dad. I know they are out there but for some reason we haven't seen it on this show. I'm still in shock at what he said. No, I didn't see his parents at all on the show.

He knew exactly how to get to her. B/c she is concerned about being a good mom and doing what is right for her child, that is her #1 priority (which it should be and it appeared she was doing a great job) and by him saying that to her that made her feel as though she was an awful mom.
I just don't get it, don't these guys feel a bond with these cute little babies that they help to make? I mean if you don't like the baby's mom for whatever reason (and it appeared he just didn't like her b/c she wanted to be a good mom and take care of her child instead of partying and fixing cars) then why not just be there for your kid? Ugh, makes my blood boil.

On the last season of 16 & Pregnant/Teen Mom, I'd say Tyler was a pretty good guy. Gary was when he tried
