...

We had just finished our awesome breakfast at Kona and everyone was ready to SHOP! :thumbsup2 After a little pin trading at the Poly gift shop we made our way down to the bus stop. Up until now, we had no love bug sightings. I was pretty worried about it, too. Brenna hates creepy crawlies. I knew that going at the very beginning of October meant that we might run into some love bugs... and we did - at the Poly bus stop. :sad2: They weren't too bad, but they were there - flying around, having a good ole' time. ;) Luckily, the bus came within a few minutes and we were on our way to Downtown Disney.

I hate those darn things. :darth:

I'd love to tell you that we bought a bunch of cool stuff... but to be honest, we really didn't find that much that we wanted. I think we spent a total of $35 - which is unheard of for us. :confused3

I know what you mean. We usually spend $100 per visit. :sad2:

Conner did his thing in the Lego Store, while we waited... and waited... He only got two big plastic cups of parts this time, 'cause he just got his new XBox 360 & Halo3 before we went on vacation.

Love those Legos! How much is bucket now? $12?

Did Stitch spit on you?

I could never do this! It's really amazing to watch - Steve didn't get to go last time, but he was with us this time. It so was fun to watch him see his little girl turn into a princess. princess:

Cool! LG would love this!

We had plans to meet a fellow DIS'er and her friend in the lobby of the Contemporary so we could ride the monorail over to Epcot together. I couldn't believe my big night was finally here! I've wanted to go to Party for the Senses for years, but it just never seemed to work out. I was excited to meet the rest of the DIS'ers that were going to PFTS, too. Once we met our traveling companions in the lobby and headed out of the Contemporary on the monorail, I had a feeling that it was going to be a great night! The sun was shining and we were on our way!

Oh my gosh Brenna's hair came out beautiful. I wish I could come up with some reason to get my hair done. I just love having an updo.

They weren't too bad, but they were there - flying around, having a good ole' time. ;)

Let's talk about this. Was a time, I'd have dropped a fortune at WDW if I'd had it to spend. Nowadays... not so much. What changed? Do you think we just get "over it" after visiting for years? Or are the offerings not what they once were? I'm planning on some investigative reporting come Dec.
...and got sucked into the vortex that is World of Disney...
:rotfl2: Great terminology!
They did such a good job - all brenna's curls look soft and not at all crispy! :thumbsup2
I love your family pics - you all look so nice! :goodvibes

Brenna's Hair is very similar to how I want it for my wedding & I'm having it done at Ivy Trellis!

I agree about shopping at Downtown Disney. I didn't spend nearly what I usually do.

Can't wait to hear about your PotS!

Brenna's hair looks great... you all look great. Can't wait to read about the party!

We ran into love bugs one day on the tram from one of the parking lots... I think it was at MK. Other than that we didn't really see any. Luckily... I had read about how they were there late this year and figured we would see them everywhere!

PHEW! I'm finally caught up Michelle! Sorry its taken so long for me to get back here...real life has put a serious dent in my DIS life:headache:

I spent all night last night reading and yet again, your TR has been awesome! I love the details, the pictures...everything!!! It's looking like you've had a wonderful time...I'd love to get down there for MNSSHP and F&W someday and your TR's making me want to go even more!!!

I finally caught up also. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went visiting dh's parents in south Jersey. Today is my son's birthday party at a laser place. I hope to start decorating for christmas outside this weekend but my dh just told me the high today is 40. Way to cold for me. Your trip to the museum in chigago looks like so much fun!
Looking foward to your pfts part of the trip report!! :)

I love the pic of Brenna with her marshmallow creation. Her eyes look so sweet. :cutie: But then, what a transformation when she got her up-do at the salon! Quite lovely!

Love your TR. The picture of the family looks great. You guys do look happy. I love your shirt too. I want to get an up do at Disney, she looked so beautiful, I love the hidden Mickey in her hair princess: . The next we go I would love the boys to get haircuts at the Barber shop. I think that's cool. Can't wait to hear about you POFS, I have never heard of that before. Patiently waiting for more.

Today is my son's birthday party at a laser place.

Sorry to cut in on your TR, Sandy my DD's party is today too :cake: . Her real birthday was on the 22nd (on Thanksgiving). Tell your son Happy Birthday from me:cake:.

I love Brenna's hari and you all look great.

See I always manage to spend way too much there (even when I don't intend to). Hopefully next time I can show some restraint!

Can't wait to hear about PFTS!

Great update, Michelle. I love the pictures from the salon at the Grand Floridian. What a fun thing to do!

Looking forward to reading about the party for the senses! :woohoo:

Hi! I was wondering how your trip went and found that I was pages behind already. Good thing you posted that index at the begining.

I already found out something that I didn't know before. You can get your hair done at GF. It looked so beautiful. I can't wait to hear about the PFYS. My family never even made it to World Showcase on our trip. Yep, we completely missed the F&W festival.

I can't wait to hear about the Party of the Senses!

That is so neat that Brenna got her hair done over at the GF!
Is that a hidden Mickey I see in her hair? :goodvibes
