...

You are do right on with V's fuzzy math:thumbsup2 The party looks like a blast. Now, will they be serving non alcoholic drinks for the kinder? This is a must do play by play for your TR. I am hoping for many photo's! PAALEESE!

OK, next year we must do PFTS since somehow I missed it this year, however we are going to the tea with Stephen Twining and The Boating Party lunch. The relaxed atmosphere of the F & W festival is nice since you can go at your own pace, with an adult beverage in hand, and enjoy all Epcot really has to offer. :goodvibes

Aw man! That woulda been awesome to see Anthony Bourdain! Oh well..It looks like you'll have a blast!

Now THAT is the kind of maths that I like. If only you'd been my maths teacher, maybe I wouldn't need to use a calculator to figure out how much "extra money" you have left!

MMMMM what could you do with that... a photo session at the GF maybe?
Send DH & Conner to the Bobbidi Boutique ? :ssst:

I LOVE Sam from Top Chef, I hope you find him a snap some pics! I'm also jealous you'll be there with Collette Peters. She makes the most awesome cakes on the Food Network challanges.

You're almost there!:cool1:

Yikes! That is one expensive party. But it is beautiful. Those colors are wonderful. The music was a bit loud.( oh dang, I just showed my age)
So I know your children are versed in fine dining but what do they drink at this event? I read in the review that they offer evian & coffee. Well, enjoy!!

Oh my you have been busy over here.

Congrats on the cheap air fare, I always get nervous when pulling that trigger. I booked the February flights in July, I just couldn't pass up $132 roundtrip from Newark.

Don't you just love FDM, :lmao:

I can't wait to hear your review of the PFTS, I didn't know Cirque performers were going to be there.(and of course our Dismeet:goodvibes )

Awww.... isn't FDM just so warm and fuzzy? :cloud9:

That Party for the Senses sounds incredible! I cannot wait to read about it! Hmmmm.... maybe with a little FDM I can swing a long weekend next year. :scratchin

Everytime I read one of your TR's Michelle, I always find something else I MUST DO! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am glad you "saved" so much money so that you can do Party for the Senses.:woohoo: It looks great!:goodvibes

Love the photoshop pic! hilarious! :lmao:

That party for the senses looks AMAZING!!!!!!! i am really REALLY hoping for Greg and I to go again next October, basically to do the F &W festival..and MNSSHP...both of which we have never done..i will def. be saving some $$ for that party though...i can't wait to read about it on your report :)

Haha love the picture!
(My fiance abandoned me today so that he can go play that game with the boys - I guess I should expect him home at like midnight) I will have to send it to him.

Let's see... where were we? :scratchin Oh, yeah, I just spent $700 on one Food & Wine Festival event! :scared1: Yep, that's me! :teeth: I stick to a strict budget and clearance shop in my everyday life, but when I want to spend money - WATCH OUT! :lmao: It all evens out in the end, I guess...

So... my Disney Fuzzy Math calculations say that I still have $600 to play with... hmmm... Let's look at some other Food & Wine Events... nope... nope... don't want to do that... hmmm... the Twining's Tea seminar looks interesting... but, no one else wants to do that... Wait a minute! Look at this! Sweet Sundays! and the guest chef is Colette Peters! We love her! As you might have guessed by now - my family loves food... and we all watch Food Network... together - yes, we're dorks! Iron Chef all the way, baby! :thumbsup2 The Food Network Challenges are a big deal in our house... and we've watched Colette Peters win two of those challenges! Here is a link to the Food Network website for the Mystery Cake Challenge...

Here is her Bio page on her website...

Colette Peters

...and here is a picture of Colette and her Grand Prize cake in the Food Network's 1st Wedding Cake Challenge...

Pre-TR25.jpg

YUMMY! Her cakes are soooo beautiful and really amazing! I HAD to book the Sweet Sunday event! :yay: Here is some basic info on Sweet Sundays...

Sweet Sundays

I guess other people have heard of Colette Peters, because her Sweet Sunday sold out within a few hours on the very first day that you could book Food & Wine events! I might even be looking forward to this more than PFTS!

So, after paying for the Sweet Sunday...

$65 x5 = $325 plus tax

I'm down to a little over $200. Hmmmm... what else can I do???

BTW, after I told DH about the two Food & Wine events that I booked, and how much they cost... I was a bit worried he would snap... He is well aware of the great deals I've gotten on the room & airfare... but he doesn't quite 'get' the Disney Fuzzy Math thing.

Well, my worries were for nothing! He's such a sweetie! He bought me a copy of one of Colette Peter's books and it arrived last weekend...

Pre-TR24.jpg

He told me that he ordered it so I can bring it with me to WDW and have her sign it! :goodvibes I can't wait! :yay: I was so excited after the book arrived, I wrote an email to Colette. I got a personal reply from her this morning. How cool is that?!?

Gotta go for now...
Thanks for reading everyone! :grouphug:
-Michelle

Hey, can you and V teach my DH about this whole FDM......Maybe it will convince him we should buy DVC:rolleyes1

Michelle!
Still loving your pre trip report! I love the fuzzy math and congrats on getting such low rates.
We will be in Euro Disney in 11 days. The hardest part is not telling my kids (it's a surprise for ds's 10th birthday) or else I would be copying all of your craft ideas :)

Oh Michelle your FDM is just wonderful :rotfl2:

The Sweet Sundays, looks great, and we can live it through you in your TR, a lot cheaper too ;) :rotfl:

Michelle, that was so sweet of your DH to buy you that book! I guess there was no snapping involved.:rotfl2: I think it's wonderful that you are treating yourselves, and even better that the math worked in your favor.

I'm a Duff fan. Ever watch Ace of Cakes? Amazing stuff.

You're getting so close now...and your photoshopped Mike is fantastic. You have serious creativity flowing through your veins, woman!

Only 10 days!

I wish I had known about party of the senses before. It looks amazing!
I'm so jealous that your seeing Colette Peters! I went to Johnson and Wales for pastry arts and shes so amazing at what she does. I wish I had looked at the line up for the F&W F. I had no idea this was such a huge thing...this being my first time going. I would of totally signed up for those 2 events! Anyway I can't wait to hear all about them, oh and how cool is that (the personal email!)!!! So excited for you!

Oh and by the way I love your fuzzy math

10 days! So exciting!

I'm a food network geek too! I looooove Collette Peters! And I love the challenge shows! I swear I watch food tv so much DH generally says to me "find something on tv thats not food tv!".

I can't wait to hear about all the neat events you booked!
