I've looked through recent threads and didn't see much but, does anyone have thoughts on the 1500 versus the 2000? I assume these are the only water/elec hookup loops available. We've stayed in the 2000 on several occasions but, honestly have never even been through the 1500. Anyone? Anyone?

Just came back from staying at FW(dec 30-jan5) We stayed in the 1500 loop and loved it. It is close to the pool, meadows trading post, bike barn, and the campfire program. The bus stop is also at the entrance of the loop. We will defantly be requesting the 1500 loop when we go back.

1500 is definitely our first choice too but now we have to use the 2000 loop because our tent is larger and we use a large screen house. 2000 isn't really close to anything. 1500, as the other poster said, is close to the campfire program, pool, trading post, etc.

As everyone else said, 1500 is great location wise, but the sites are a bit smaller, and some of them you have the grill and/or a tree in a weird place.

Loop 2000 has great sites specifically designed for tent campers with a little "L" shaped section that gets the grill out of your way and larger tent areas. But, it is pretty isolated.

We just got back today and we were in 2064 its great because the comfort station in right in front of you...I really didn't like it because of the noise from the buses..Also I have never been in a tent/popup section and boy we like to sleep the morning because we had no plan on going to any parks and ppl there get up early like still dark theres no more sleeping....I will try next time to get a full hook up site. What I was surprise with is that they let ppl with TT station on these site, I thought it was only for tent/popups....

We just stayed in 2000 back in Dec 2034 just next to the rear comfort station. If you cut through the Creekside Meadow (group camping) you can get straight to the Meadow trading post. We walk everywhere and had no problems getting where we wanted to be. I'd recommend it!
