Oh, I don't know. I think he should have been tied up in the Town Square, (not sure where that would be ) and everyone who lost all their retirement money, their kids' retirement money, etc., should have been able to stone him in the square.

I think it is a good punishment. But then I also think violent sexual offenders should get the death penalty. So I guess I'm a tiny bit radical in my opinions.

Lock him up and throw away the key. Now, when do we sentence the SEC that somehow didn't notice it and then ignored it when it was pointed out to them. I am getting the feeling Bernie, while a crook who should be punished harshly, is the shinny "look over here" so we forget that he was just the most blatant offender, not the only one by any means.

But he'll have three meals a day and a roof over his head and medical and dental care in prison.

I'd actually like to see him given a minimum wage job with no health insurance (and no social security or medicare benefits) and see how he likes working 40 hours a week on his feet (how about in an un-air conditioned warehouse, or mowing lawns?) and not being able to afford a decent place to live or healthy food and not being able to afford to go to the doctor when he is sick, or to the dentist when he has a toothache, and maybe having his hours cut from 40 to 32, no help from friends and family allowed - just Bernie getting by on his own on $11,000 a year.

Oh wait, how about a job in a chicken processing plant?

I think he deserves to be tied down and then cut over and over with a crisp $1 bill until he slowly bleeds to death...

Gotta stop watching shows about medieval torture methonds on the history channel...

Sentences like this one, and better yet sentencing these "white collar" criminals to serve their time in a real prison in the general population instead of a country club, is the way to hopefully deter this crooks in the future.
