150 Point Requirement

I am just curious, I know DVC will not sell less then 150 points for an initial purchase but is it possible to purchase less then 150 via resale as an initial purchase?

I know DVC still has ROFR but will they use their option in case the points are less then 150 on an initial purchase?

Yes it is possible to purchase less than 150 points through resale as an initial purchase into DVC. Many here have reported doing so.

Disney's ROFR seems to be based more on price per point and banked/borrowed points rather than size of contract.

Yes, you can. I originally purchased a 60 point OKW contract. I have also added on at BCV since then, but I still own less than 150 total points, which is fine for me since I do not intend to travel to WDW every year.
