Morning all..........

I have been MIA for the last few days doing puppy patrol :rotfl: The girls decided to name him Cody and he is adorable but demanding just like a baby. ;) Working on getting him housetrained so in the meantime we live by his clock :rotfl:

Finally done with school and work WOO HOO :banana:

The fitness center has yoga classes 3 mornings a week and WW has a morning meeting I can attend. So my goal for the summer is to not sleep late - get to the yoga classes, go back to WW and get this butt moving!!

Carrieberry - Good Luck on the move.........follow and trust your instincts - they are usually right :) Good Luck!! Let us know how it is going.

Tara - you are the glue that holds this group together.......love you right back :grouphug:

Regina - Keep losing for me until I can catch up with you. :cheer2:

DJ- CONGRATS TO YOUR CHILDREN!! Were they excited to hear the good news?

Off to the grocery store to stock up on good healthy food......getting rid of the bad habits of the last couple of months.........DD and I are getting back on track!! :cheer2:

Hi gang!! Everybody moving and shaking?? We finally got DS moved out this weekend and DD is Vail for the summer working! The house is echoing! Today we ate lunch and I looked over at DH and said, "So, now what do you want to do"????? :rotfl: In the 22 years we have been married we've never really been alone in a house...kinda strange. :cool1:

TigerCheer, ooooh a new clippie is it? Nice! 15 pounds that's 3 small bags of sugar gone foreverrrrrrrrrrrr. :banana: :banana: Keep up the good work!!

Tomorrow morning I am hunkering down to an 8 week commitment...yes, exercise too! :rotfl: We went to see The Longest Yard yesterday and it made me wish it was closer to football season! There is something about the sound of crashing shoulder pads that gets the blood flowing! HA HA!

Well just a little update for me. Last week's WI stunk, but I have been kicking butt this week... working out hard, drinking water and staying OP and looks like Tuesdays WI will be great (about 3 pounds, around 151) so that'll put me at only 2 pounds from the 140's and only 6 pounds from my WW goal. I feel like I can actually see the light at the end of that LOOOOONNNNGGG tunnel :teeth: I'll update on Tuesday

Been outside this morning with a puppy that HAD TO GO!! Still warm and humid in Chicago.....

Ok so today is the day I started this again......hopefully this is it :sunny:

Have a yoga class this morning at 8am.......can't wait to start stretching again. Maybe dd20 and I can go for a walk later.

Also back on track for eating and drinking my water :cheer2: :cheer2:

Linda!! HAR HAR!! I'm REJOINING as well!! I can't believe how many times this little engine of mine has sputtered..but maybe this time will hold...it helps that we bought a scale from Costco...the bad news is my husband weighs 3 pounds more on it than our last one...of course he could have gained in the past 2 weeks but I was sooo hoping it would weigh with a light touch! The good news is it weighs in .2 increments so that will help encourage me on weeks where I may only lose .2 pounds. And TOM started today so this weekend was sabotaged by cravings and cramps....must drink my water to flush away any damage added this past week. So Thursday's weigh in is SERIOUS mode and I will manage my walking better....last week only did 4 miles...this week aiming for 16.

Tera!!! WAHOO!!! :banana: :banana: I won't post that lovely loss until you call it official...but just knowing you've plugged on through the 150's in such good time really inspires me to get there!!!

TigerCheer2009...15 pound clippie!!! WOW!!!! :cheer2: You are cruising through and I tell ya...when you hit that 20 pound clippie you will really FEEL it all over!!! I know your clothes are fitting soo loose!!!

Regina!! :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: Those BIG losses really make ya want to keep it up don't they??? I'm pulling for ya!!! WAY TO STAY STRONG!!!

Tiggerkeeper...8 weeks sounds like a GOOD place to aim for!!! COUNT ME IN!!! In 8 weeks my dh has his 20th high school reunion...so let me get 15 pounds off by then!!! :)

DJ...how are things rocking with you this Monday??? Commit and Hydrate!!! That's my mantra for the next 8 weeks...let's do as Chrismiss said and LOSE SOME POUNDAGE!!!!

Just had my slimfast....and will have some water after I sign off...starting fresh...needing to get focused AGAIN...you guys are a great engine starter!!! :)

Morning All, it is hot and rainy and you could cut the air between showers with a knife. This is the part of summer I hate the most!

Linda, starting the day off with yoga sounds great - all that stretching!! :Pinkbounc Starting off on the right foot! You go girl!! Spain, wow, what an adventure that will be for your DD! DS21 is gone, we hope for good this time...he has had a couple of false starts :rotfl: DD18 will be back for school in August. She will be a freshman in college but is doing her pre-physical therapy years here at a local university. We have 6 colleges in Spartanburg.

Tera, where are you in Colorado? DD is working in Eagle and living in Vail with her grandparents. She is loving it! My fingers are crossed triple times for your WI Tuesday!! :cheer2:

Tara, we are all with you CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN...no pressure! :rotfl2:

Good morning everybody!!! I just wanted to let you know that you all inspire me. I get so giddy coming here.

Funny moment:
I was talking about our Disney trip and how good I was gonna look. I kept rambling and my family got bored. So I said: I'm not the only one like this, I'm just the only one you know! It was really late because life folded in on itself, and we were double-triple-quadruple booked.

Anyway-TiggerKeeper: thanks for the kind words! I tried to pick up a 20 pound thing of cat litter and I was floored that I could lift that just weeks ago (I was walking around with it) but now it felt so HEAVY!

Tara (T3), thanks for the kind words! I feel better, I have much more energy! I can do PUSHUPS now, not to mention my flexibility has improved. Good for you for recommiting. TOM should just take a long walk off a short cliff, don'tcha think? Remember: what are you, miss Tara? (A wonderful WISHer and nobody can take that away from you, and if they try, TigerCheer2009 will karate chop them or something!!) What do you want to do for yourself? Why? What feels good about you (like "I have so much more energy" or "I empower others" which you do)?

Hello everyone from beautiful and sunny O-hot-o! I think my weight loss has stuck and I even know the reason why: I'm eating too much and going WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY (with about a hundred Y's) over points. I just feel like somethin' is goin' off inside of me that says eateateateateateateateat and follow-it! So I do. Any tips on how to shut that voice off? Really...it's bothering me!! But I can't tone it down or it will yell. Pshaw.

Good for you, Carrie:banana:berry! You deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2: 10 lbs down! :cheer2:

I swear to you, I think all the WISHers packed up and left for Disney without us. ;)
 
Carrieberry!! dontcha know it!! I really like those weeks of 0 loss...because it's usually followed up by a big 3 pounder!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: YEAH!!! And look at the beautiful clippie!!!! :)

Tigercheer2009...girl...sweetie...dearie...I'm the last one to give you advice on this but when I'm in a losing mode (hoping to fit into that notch here shortly again!) I will give myself a day a week to eat freely...it may stall my weight but it is some sort of mental trick...then somehow I do manage to lose having been good the other 6 days...seeing that scale go down is usually enough motivation for me to kick that free day back out and make losing more exciting than the food I'm putting in my mouth...also it helps to buy a pair of pants that are 2 sizes to small and try them on. It's amazing that day they actually can button and zip! But usually another 5 pounds allows you to breathe in them...breathing is always a good motivator! :) Those are my ideas...any others??? Let's help Tigercheer keep her momentum!!!

Well, I think I've updated most of the losses...I went back about 8 pages and posted everything I found...but I'm sure I've missed a few...so if you see my oopsies...just let me know and I'll be ON IT!!! :)

I didn't get my 4 miler in yesterday morning but I did mow the grass and it took me over an hour walking the mower...so I'm hoping that helped. I'll be up early for tomorrow's walk..I've had a slight chest cold that makes me wake up with a horrible sore throat and about 30 minutes worth of hacking up junk when I first get up...I just couldn't make myself do that early am walk. Drinking more water so I can flush all this gunk out! :)

If you're missing any of our 150'ers..go to the first page and find their moniker and send them a PM...I know I lose best when I'm encouraged and I think some 150'ers are needing a little encouragment...I'm going to send everyone an end of May report...but I thought any extra little hello's might help someone who's had a month of struggling.

TigerCheer, turn off the voices in your head and make the decision to ignore them. You are doing so well! Now is the time to remember what you are doing and why. I am with Tara if you allow yourself one free eat with some control then do it but if you know you can't stop yourself be careful. Good luck, we are all pulling for you! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Just popping in to say HI and BYE!

Yesterday my twin DDs gradutated from grade school (I cried and cried--can't imagine what it will be like when the graduate from High School).

Then today and tomorrow I am getting ready for our trip and we leave for WDW on Thursday!!!!! :flower:

So I won't be around for awhile. Hope everyone has a great week, and I will check back in next week when we get back!

I won't lose any weight, and I am hoping to see no more than a 5 pound gain when I get back. I plan to really ENJOY myself on this trip---but once I am home, I will get back on track. Have to get to my goal by our March 2006 Disney Cruise!!!!

I need in this club! I'm at 178 right now, and I just can't seem to get motivated to get going again. I lost 10 lbs., and then just stalled out. I was so excited when I found the WISH board today! I think this is going to be just what I need to get as close as possible to my goal before my trip.
 
Hello Fellow Losers!!!!

Well today's WI was awesome. I lost 3.8 pounds this past week for a total of 57.6 pounds. My weight is currently at 150.4 and those 140's are soooo close now. I claimed a new clippie and I'm only 2.4 away from my 60 pound clippie. Only 5.4 till my WW goal and 15 till my personal goal.

I'm in a GREAT mood today :goodvibes

Welcome Worfiedoodles!!! Hey, I think I'm around the same number as you...well, that was my lowest about 6 weeks ago...had an out of state move and well ya know have backslidden...so I'll be thrilled to see 178 again!! But I only want to see it for a day or two! :) So let's kick it up and start seeking out those 160's!! It may take me 2 weeks to see the 170's again...weigh in is Thursday...but I'll do it! YOU WILL TOO!!!!

Tera!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!! I'm sorry...but when you hit the 140's you'll just have to stick around here to see us all hit 150 and join you! :) I'm soo gosh dog proud of you!!! You must be one disciplined and healthy fit lady! :) You are such an inspiration to all of us!!! Can't wait to hear the excitement when you see 14x something! :)

I did pretty well today...uh I did have some reese ball things..but the rest was manageable...I walked 3 miles on a hike with my ds and boy was it ever hot and humid..supposed to be 91 today..we're hitting the pool in about 5 minutes so I'm hoping to swim some of those balls off before my weigh in on Thursday...having a new starting point to 150 will really help! :)

Have managed to walk 2 days in a row. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: 2.65 miles yesterday along the boardwalk at Sunken Meadows State park on the north shore of Long Island and 4 miles today along the boardwalk at Jones Beach on the south shore of the island looking out on the Atlantic.

DD2 and I plan on going to another state park in the area tomorrow for another walk. This could become habit forming.

Tara - keep drinking you water and exercising and the weight will come off.

Tigercheer - you have been the cheerleader on this board and done very well so far in focusing on your goals. Don't let the food voice demons detract you from your ultimate goal. I know you can conquer your demons and continue with your loses.

Worfiedoodles - welcome to the 150's club. You are at about the same point as myself. We can join Tara and try to get to the 150's together.

Tera - you are an inspiration to all who are trying to get to the 150's. Seeing your progress proves it can be done with determination and hard work. Keep up the good work and you will meet your goal.

Linda - hope everything is going well with you and dd17.
