Ok, I went back half a pound. I am not going to sob too much, since this isn't too bad. Probably all that yummy stuff I had while at Mackinaw the previous week. lol. So, a mini-goal for me is 1.5 pounds this week.

So, Tara, My loss total is 2 pounds. I have 14 more to go for the summer to reach my goal of 200! Til my 45th birthday! Yippee!!!

Good losses to all!

Wendy

No weight loss to report this week (but no gain either). I had my niece's graduation party and lots of other things going on so I'm glad I didn't gain anything. I'm hoping to start the new week right!

Have a good week everyone!

I haven't been here in a while, but I gained two weeks ago bringing my total weight to 177.6. Well after ALOT of stress last week, I turned to major exercise instead of food, and I am happy to say that I lost 10.8 last week. My new weight is 166.8 as of Saturday, so goodbye 170's, hello 160's, and hopefully next week I will hit the 150's. I weighed myself yesterday just to keep myself in check, and I was down to 164.6, but that is not an official WW weigh in(I know I shouldn't be weighing myself, but I feel like if I know that the scale is moving one way or another I can do something about it before it is too late.), so...

my new tracking should read

177.6....166.8

Mind if I join in? Ultimately I'd like to get to the 140s but I'll be happy with 150.

My name is Chris, I'm 36, will be 37 next month, mom to one little girl, aged (just) 2. I have about 70 more pounds to lose. I just started working on myself again (after years of neglect) and I'm down 8 pounds as of yesterday.

I'd love to be under 200 by October when we go to Disney for a long weekend of fun. Right now I'm at 210.

Last week I was down to needing to lose 14.5 pounds, but I didn't weigh this week. I will get you can update next week.
Thanks Tara!
Debra

Hello all! I am back!!!

Alive was pretty much awesome. It was very rainy though the sun popped out for the last day! I didn't get to do much exercise due to the rain but everything was so far away from us (like the merchandise tent, the Hill, the Pit, the fair food, etc.) that I walked quite a bit. I got to be front row (almost) for Audio Adrenaline's last concert Saturday...except for people were going crazy and I felt like I was going to have a spaz attack...not a happy healthy feeling. I did get to be about 8 or 10 rows away from the Relient K concert on stage. I stood for a minimum of 4 hours each for those!! The youth group people provided dinner and breakfast and lunch everyday, but I really honestly missed my fruits and veggies. I broke down and bought an ucky fruit cup because I craved fruit so much!

On to VBS-I actually got to teach this year. It started today and it went pretty well. Nobody died/cried/threw up/smacked/bit/punched anyone yet!!! I am so excited. We are doing Trading Places. It's a lot of work, but I really enjoy it. Today's lesson was about Ruth being loyal to God-we played some games. Crafts did not go over so well-they had to interlink these paper people to make a wreath and it was way too hard for that age group. I teach 11 kids, today anyway, and have 2 helpers. First and second graders rock!

Water has been excellent!

I WI tomorrow-very nervous!

I didn't do as much the past 2 weeks as I would have liked. I have been working alot and the days I am home it is raining. This is the worst summer ever. :confused3 I am happy that I lost one pound but I am determined to lose at least one more before the end of June for a total loss of 5 pounds this month. So that is my update for now. :sunny:

Is it too late to join in on this club? 150 is my exact goal and my doctor chewed my butt about it last week. I am bound and determined to fight my way all the way down to that happy little number.

Can I play too even though you've been well established for so long?

Hi Everyone!

I missed weighing in Monday -- I had just gotten back from a week of vacation and TOM. Last night both ds and I were sick -- so no TM today. I did workout Sat., Sun., and Monday am, so hopefully that will hold me until Thursday.

I have company arriving tomorrow who will occupy our "guest suite", which also happens to be the basement where the TM is. I don't have high hopes, but we'll see how this goes.

I have to move along to bed so I can't do personalized replies tonight, but let me just say that -- Debra, you and your entire family are in my prayers. I know you are having a tough time all around, and I hope that all your situations will resolve in the best way possible.

Everybody remember to drink plenty of water!

WOW SOME GREAT LOSSES AND EXERCISE!!!

Kathy!!! I remember you telling me not to jump in at 8 miles in 2 days, and there you go thinking you're me! :) It is much better to start gradual and be more consistent with doing something daily. Great jump into exercising! You have had such a rough time with the surgery and rehab....I'm amazed you're able to run! That is wonderful! Just doing anything daily will go a long way in getting you back into the 160's! Don't get discouraged....you will be back in the swing soon! Congrats on your daughter heading to West Point...what an accomplishment!!!

Wendy, I just updated the weigh in page and forgot to add your 1/2 pound...once again my mind must be knowing that it'll be off and then some for next week! :) Keep up the great attitude and no sobbing aloud!!! :)

Tigerrific...I think it's just as hard to maintain as to lose...so :Pinkbounc way to go on making it through a big food event without gaining! And congrats to the graduate! :)

Disneyfanz!!! WOW!!! 10.8 pounds in 2 weeks???? Okay, being the protective mom, I have to make sure you're not killing yourself out there!!! I bet you had water that just washed off of you but atleast 5-6 pounds of that has got to be fat gone!!! What did you eat to keep your energy level so high? When you post a loss like that you're begged to share how you did it! I'm sure we can all use some of that in our lifestyle! :) I've upped my activity this week with daily walks and tennis...so hope by Saturday I can post a 3 pound loss...you've inspired me to STICK WITH IT! :)

Chris! Great to have you!!! Of course, come right on in and with 8 pounds under your loss belt you can bet we'd love to hear your how to's!! :) I had to go ahead and put that 8 pound loss on the check in thread because you need to brag a bit! :)

Debra...14.5 pounds is very doable! I know you're having a tough time....still praying for your dd and hoping that family getaway will help clear the mind! :)

WELCOME BACK JEN!!!! Wow! It sounds like you had a great trip! Albeit wet! And kudos for you teaching VBS...I admire anyone who can handle a week of multiple children in an enclosed area! :) Give me wide open spaces and I do just fine! :) Good job on craving the fruit!!!!! That scale will be nice to you!!!

Gracer9977....nonononononono!!! We can't have this be the worst summer ever!!! What can we do to help you change it? Do you need cheers? :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Do you need suggestions for a quick mental getaway? Imagine yourself lying at the beach...a cool soft breeze blowing your towel up off the beach chair...you hear the rustling of the umbrella blowing and off in the distance you can hear the call of the dolphins. No one is there but you and your valet who will serve you any beverage to cool your thirst! :) Okay....I know the real thing would do better but we must have you ENJOY something about this summer! :) you can get 5 pounds gone....keep food your friend not your escape! :)

TPC...the red cross was established a looong time ago...but there's still a need today for it....same for the 150's club....as long as there is a need, we'll be here! So WELCOME SWEETIE!!!! That doctor will be singing your praises at next year's check-up...so let's get some pounds off! :)

Maria....I am soooo sorry you are sick! I wish I were there to help you out! Hopefully it will be over quickly and you'll get your energy back soon! Take good care of you and your family and take it slow as you get back on your feet!

Everyone!! GREAT energy going on here! We can make these losses STICK this summer!

LOL--you bet! DH says the change was due to lack of organization with my medications. Got to love him! I am working very hard to lose it and another one!

Off to the races! :cheer2:

Great losses to all and more to come!

Wendy

Ok, just a quick check in here. I am now down to 195.6 which is a total loss of 6.6 in the last 3 weeks. This past week I only lost .8. I am a little disappointed in myself but at least I didn't gain, right?
Anyway, I NEED to get more exercise and drink more water. That is what I am going to work on this week.
Good luck to everyone and Have a Great 4th of July!! --Renee

Just a quick post, have to get headed for Rochester.

Come join us on the July exercise challenge. It will give you motivation to keep moving and exercising. Hope to see you there.

Just to let you know, we are going camping this weekend, and there is a Cold Stone Creamery there (we don't have one around here) and well, I am just hoping to hold my own for awhile :thumbsup2 . I think it will be easier for me to get back on track with my weight when summer vacation is over. Having the kids home all day really messes up my routine.

So I won't be online for awhile, but I will be thinking of your guys and hope to get back on track soon!

Debra

Debra, have a great time camping!

I agree, cold stone creamery is a huge temptation. Maybe if you walked to it and walked back, you will have burned all the calories?? :goodvibes

Have a great trip!

Wendy

Good Morning!

Not back on the TM yet, but eating sensibly. Having company is also wearing me out. I'm getting to bed later than usual, getting up at the same time, and eating later so eating less. I'd rather be working out, but hopefully I'll be able to add that back in soon.

Wendy -- You're doing great! :sunny: Keep up the losses.

Debra -- Have a great trip! Cold Stone Creamery should not be allowed, it's painful to have one of those near you! :rotfl:

Kathy -- Hope you had a great trip. I have a feeling you will make great exercise strides in July! :cool1:

Renee -- You are doing very well! You are averaging over 2 lbs. a week, that is awesome! :woohoo:

Tara -- You're mental getaway is a great trip! I love the beach. :beach:

TPCShauna -- It's never too late! :welcome:

Gracer -- My lawn could not be greener! I think it's about time for warm summer to arrive! :sunny:

Jen -- So glad you had a great time, and you're enjoying VBS. Our's isn't 'til the end of July, but I know my former 2nd grader is going to love it. I hope his teachers are as enthusiastic as you! :Pinkbounc

Chris -- :welcome: I'm so glad you're here! This is a great place to get support. I am 38, I've been married for 13 years and have a ds8, and I work FT. I perpetually hover around 175, but one day I will put it all together and get to the 150s!

Disneyfanz04 -- Wow! What a fabulous loss. You are an inspiration! :thumbsup2

Tiggerific -- Just keep going, more losses will come! :moped:

Dona -- How's the summer so far?

Have a great day, and a fabulous weekend!

Actually that was a one week weight loss. I gained two weeks in a row. One week I gained a pound, and the next week, I gained .4. So I decided enough was enough, and through some very stressful times I turned to exercise instead of food. I also switched to the CORE plan. I didn't use any of the flex points, and like I said I exercised like you wouldn't believe. I did cardio every day sometimes twice a day, and then I also added weight training last week. I must have walked/ran about 50 miles last week. I think I did over 1000 crunches last week too. It was really hard, but I am sick of this weight sticking around, and I am determined to be at goal by my birthday.

Hi everyone. I am mpressed wtih all the weight everyone has lost. Keep up the good work.

I don't expect a weight loss this week because even though I have been watching what I have been eating (except for today) I have not gotten in all my exercsie that I should have this week.

My dh and ds just left for New Mexico to go to the Boy Scout camp called Philmont. THey will be backpacking for 10 days and visting the area for the rest of the 2 weeks. I will only have my 21 yr old ds and I don't expect to see him much. My husband told him it would be nice to take me out to dinner and my son's comment was "Who's going to pay" LOL. I only got about 4 hours of sleep last night because we had an early call at the airport. We slept at my parent's house because they are only about 15 minutes from the airport vs 45 from our house. I went to bed about 10:30 and at 2:30 I woke up and since I wasplanning on waking up at 3:30 I decided to stay up and read so that I wouldn't sleep through the alarm (which never went off as it is) So I read and watched Star Jones on a rerun of last night's Larry King show. I left them at the airport about 6:15 just before they were going to go through security. I started to go home but I had to go to a class in my school. So I stopped for breakfast and then went through 6 hours of class. By the time I got home at 2:30 I dozed a little bit but now I am exhausted. I think I am going to veg in front of the tvf in the family room while my son and his girl friend are going to watch a movie in the living room.

I am hoping to spend the next two weeks eating as if I was at a spa. I will probably only be cooking for myself so why not what I want to do spa food for the next couple of weeks. THe only day I have anything scheduled is the 4th of July and I will probably bring some good food that I want to eat and not worry about other people.

Well it is time to go. Keep up the good work. Now that my class is finished I should have some more free time to post.

I am down another 2.8 this week which now puts me at 164. WOOHOO 4 more pounds and into the 150's for me!!!! I can't weight!!!! :thumbsup2

I am still where I was last week. I know something is happening because 2 people commented on how good I looked and how much weight I have lost. This just happened on THursday and Friday so I think my body is adjusting itself from the weight loss last month. I hope it adjusts soon so that I can lose some more weight. My pants that I bought in April are loose in the waist so something is going on.

I hope everyone has a good weight loss week. I am thinking about buying a new scale but if the weight is higher than scale now I will be discouraged. I think I will wait until the challenge is done.
