Hello Fellow LOSERS!!!!

Today's WI went really well, losing 2.6 pounds for a total of 46.8 pounds. THAT gets me a 45 pound clippie (doesn't it look lovely? ;) ) and with a weight of 161.2, only 2.2 pounds till I hit the 150's!!!! :cool1: :cool1: I am very excited, and even though TOM should be visiting next week, I'm going to work extra hard and drink EXTRA water and hope I can still get close. We'll be celebrating soon though.... :earsgirl:

Your clippie is beautiful! Congratulations!

Teresa!!!! You're ROCKING IT!!!  ;) Look at your body melting away!!!! I hope I've kept up with all your losses on page one!! There has been so much losing going on here...please anyone who can remind me if I've missed recording your losses...SPEAK UP!!! We want every miserable, lowly pound to be accounted for!! They should not be allowed to go unnoticed for the time they took up space on our bodies!! :) Let's kick all those excess pounds outta here!! :)

We're a team through and through...and we'll make it together!! This month has been a great month for losing and committing to exercise....if you've had a tough time getting it together...know that each new day is a FRESH start!!! We all can do this!!! :grouphug:

Tara

Morning all!! :sunny:

As crazy as it may seem there is snow flying around Chicago today :cold: So what else is new? :rotfl: Really HATE this weather..........can't get warm :cold: :cold:

Exercise is back in gear (20 minutes on the ellipitcal and 25 minutes on the bike with a 30 minute balance ball and 15minutes of crunches and weights - then later on in the evening 45 minute walk on the indoor track)......

Just have to work on portion control. Afraid to step on that evil evil scale. Took 26 years to go on and could take 26 years to take off

Teresa - You Go Girl!!! :cool1: :cool1: Lookin good from here!!

Ok team - My personal mantra for today is PORTION CONTROL AND WATER INTAKE!!!!! I am going to keep repeating that all day. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Body really sore today so debating what exercise to do today. Too cold to go swimming - thinking of coming home and doing a tape.

All my fellow Losers - Keep Moving!! :cheer2:

You guys are the best!! :grouphug:

Have a magical Disney Day!!

Linda

Thanks Everyone!!!

Tara - You should be a motivational speaker, you'd be great at it. :teeth: It's amazing to look back and see 13.2 pounds gone since joining this challenge. Those 150's are so close... I never thought I would get here, or atleast not for awhile.

Bought my very FIRST size 10 jeans. They are a little tight right now, but I know in a few more weeks, they will be comfortable. It amazes me that when I first started WW, I was wearing an 18 or a tight 16. Now I can get into most 12's and soon, ALL 10's. I guess when I put those first 8's on, I'll cry

Only 43 more days till we leave for our cruise and I'm still shooting for 11 more pounds. I want to be at 150 by the time we leave :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Morning all!! :goodvibes

Well officially I am on Spring Break!! :cool1: Weatherman are predicting snow for the Chicago Area!! I give up!! :cold: :cold:

The good news is that I am part of a GREAT TEAM OF LOSERS!! :grouphug: :cheer2:

Have a happy Thursday!! Off to Indiana University to take DD17 for a college visit and to pick up DD20 and bring her home for Easter. Back late tomorrow night.

To those of you that celebrate Easter - Happy Easter!!

Have a magical Disney Day!! :earsboy:

Linda

Tera, that clippie looks mahvelous! :cool1: Size 12's pretty impressive! Keep going for those 10's

Linda, have a good trip and a great spring break!

Tara, I am humming that mantra too...it's gonna happen!

Congrats on all the hard work you all are doing!

I think I have lost all of the TOM swell so I am still at 180, hey, it is better than gaining!! We are off to Gatlinburg in the morning for a weekend of relaxing. Then next week DS moves back in for a few weeks until he can find an apartment.....stress, stress, stress. Ugh! I am half way in my 50 pound down challenge and I REALLY need to buckle down and get busy.

You are all such an inspiration and a force to be reconned with! :flower:

HAPPY EASTER CLUB 150 and stay away from the chocolate bunnies!! :earboy2: :wave2: :grouphug:

HELLOOO GANG!!!

Linda!! I say avoid the scale when your body is soo sore...after my big heavy workouts the next two days my scales are always way up even though I "feel" smaller...let your body recover from that GREAT workout you did!! :) Portion control and water....YES!!!! Portion control and water...YES!!! :cheer2: You can do this!!! Have a great road trip...let the girls drive so you can eat a salad on the go...I hate to stop to eat on road trips...I drive my husband crazy but I want to be at my destination sooner than later :) Same way with my weight wishes! :)

Teresa!!! YOU CAN WEAR SIZE 10 JEANS!!! I get all giddy thinking about it!! :) Look at you GOOOOO!!!! And 13.5 pounds is HUGE!!!! Just think YOU DID IT!!! :cheer2: I LOVE cheering everyone on...cause it really makes me KNOW I can do this, too!!! It's kind of like if you put a smile on your face even when you don't want to, you do start to feel kind of happy inside! :goodvibes Y'all are really helping me make this HAPPEN!!! And WOW that clippie looks soooo beautiful!!!

Tiggerkeeper! Have a great Gatlinburg trip...do I even mention what GREAT hiking trails they have there??? You can make that trip pay off for you big time! :) And, think of the good things of your son moving back in...you've got a built in exercise partner...make that his pay for boarding :) Will he play tennis with you...or go to a track and time you on a lap? Make it a fun losing time while he's home! :) I'm going to try and stay away from those chocolate bunnies...but I have my eye on a Cadbury egg... ;)

I've got some great news!!! At my weigh in today I lost 3 pounds this week!!! I'm soo excited...seems like I have a .5 pound loss, then a one pound loss then a big loss...wish it were just 2 pounds a week, I'd be much less likely to stress eat! :) I'm at 183.5 and only 2.5 pounds from my 60 pound clippie and my lowest ever in 10 years!!! I'm sooo excited!!! :) And I'm that much closer to 170's!!! I think I'll get a little weak-kneed when I see 179.5! :)

Thanks everyone!! Watching all this moving and eating less going on has really kept me focused!!! Y'all are GREAT!!!

Today at work we had a potluck as a baby shower for a co-worker, and I was able to control my eating. Even through there was no fresh fruit or vegtables, I controled my portions and did not even fill my plate. While I did have a slice of the cake, I kept it very small and limited it to only 1. Potlucks have always been a problem for me, as I tend to overeat, but I feel
confident that I made the best choices and did not do much damage.

I also drank 94oz of water and did a 15min work-out on the weight machine.

Regina,

That is great!

Today is my birthday, so I let go a little (went out to eat and had some cheesecake). But tomorrow, right back on track!

Hi all -

Wow! Great weight losses! :cool1: I'm so inspired...

I'm doing well - eating OP and trying not to let the scale monster get me down. :teeth:

My clothes are getting looser (I've dropped about 3 sizes) - but the scale does not want to budge. Sigh...

So - 150 club... I need a pick me up... how do you all STAY THE COURSE when you know you're doing all of the right things and the scale is not cooperating? Any and all suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. :o)

Onward and downward!

Aloha, :wave2:

Iris

Regina!! Don't you feel GREAT for handling that potluck!! I think back to the way I used to eat at holidays and reunions and can't believe I'd eat that much...portion control is key for me...You're DOING GREAT!!! :cheer2:

Westjones!!! :bday: Happy happy birthday to you!!!! Hope you had a GREAT day!! Birthdays are sooo special and you're special for being a great loser! :)
Keep up the great work!!!

Iris...keep moving and eating less...and on weeks where the scale is playing havoc with me...I will do 2-3 days of low carbs...it really jump starts my losing and helps me choose more wisely when I do add in carbs. It's just not in my nature to eat lots of veggies...but I'd rather eat loads of veggies than 3 steaks a day! :) Last week I lost a pound and the week before that I lost 1/2 a pound...all this with working out 6 days and eating really well...this week I lost 3 pounds because I looked more closely at what I was eating and really limited breads/fruits...Just seeing the scale move makes me motivated to stay the course so I can see numbers I've never seen before....and with all your walking/running...you need to be using a measuring tape...3 pounds of muscle may not move the scale but it will make those clothes looser! :) I also gave up diet drinks last week..I think switching up things helps. You can do this!!! Anyone else have ideas on maintaining the will to lose when the scale scoffs at you??

On to 150's!!
Tara

Good afternoon Club 150!

I'm sorry I haven't been around this week. I have been really sick. Eating has been way off program, but I have still kept up with my exercise. I may not show a loss this week, but that's okay.

Have a Happy Easter! :flower:

Today was weigh-in day, and I lost 1lb.
Since my weight loss has been slower than I would like, I decided I need to take a closer look at what I am doing.

This week I tried to focus on what I was truly eating, and I found that I was eating more than I thought especially on the weekends. I use fitday.com to track my eating, but I was waiting until evening to write anything done, so I started keeping a paper journal for when I am not able to get on the computer.

Next week, I plan on foucusing on my exercise, to see if I can increase the intensity and duration slowly over the next couple of weeks.

WestJones- Happy Birthday, I hope you had a great day.

I lost another pound! I lost another pound!! :cheer2:

I realized today that I was still in the mindset of "I want to lose 80 pounds", and then thought, that is a stupid though, because it is much less now! Only 14 to go until the middle of May to reach my first goal. I'm so excited!

Enough of that, it looks like everyone is doing really great and working hard! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Regina - Way to go on the pound lost and kicked to the curb!

Westjones - I hope you had a GREAT birthday! I love birthdays. :rolleyes1 (He's singing "Happy Birthday to you")

Iris - Just hang in there. You know things must still be working if your clothes are fitting differently, even if the scale is "on pause". Now if scales only had remotes. :rotfl2:

To all the others that I missed, keep up the good work, drink lots of water, and work up a sweat! :cheer2:

Have a GREAT day! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Toystoryduo!! You are amazing!!! When I'm sick..I eat poorly and I use my sickieness as an excuse to not do any exercise...so if you still managed to get some in that's AMAZING!!! You're one tough cookie!! I hope you're feeling better real soon...that scale will smile on you!!! :)

Regina!!! WAHOO!!!!! Let's all celebrate!!! :Pinkbounc That's one pound GONE!!! That's AMAZING!!!! I also like to think of pounds in terms of 16 oz. drinks...that's a big bottle...you just pulled off one of those off your body!!! YAHOO!!!

Lesli!! Look at you go!!! What a strong loser you are!!! SO LONG POUNDER!!! We're off to better pastures!!! :) Your words of encouragment and support are sooo great to see....thanks for jumping in here and joining in the fun...it really CAN be fun to lose weight! :) Keep up the GREAT WORK!! :cheer2:

Well, I kind of stumbled a bit yesterday...I did great...two slices of bacon for breakfast and 1/2 an orange (I had done a 4 mile walk outdoors early am and could feel by body CRAVING carbs..so that orange felt GREAT! :))...so far so good. I went to a birthday party with my daughters and helped the mom out..I passed out pbj sandwiches, potato chips, filled/refilled about 50 cups worth of punch and passed out cake and ice cream..I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A NIBBLE!! :) I drove straight to Chik-Fil-A and had their chicken salad..YUM! So far sooo good! Well, I had made a batch of sugar cookie dough and had some new neighbors moving in so I was going to roll out some cookies...did GREAT...made it through the first roll with not even a nibble....but then when it came to the scraps after the second roll I just had to have some..I probably had a cookie's worth...then they came out and I frosted 30 cookies...probably licked way too much icing...but I did manage to escape with only eating one cookie. Dinner was chips/salsa and wings from chili's...I say all this to make myself accountable for the little nibbles...it's all those littel nibbles that got outta control that got me to my highest. And by writing it down, I can look back and be proud of what I didn't eat that day! :) The good news is that this morning was BEAUTIFUL, I made my walk stretch into a 6 mile walk!!! There's a horse farm about 3 miles from here..and this is the season for babies...I just had to see if any had been born....two babies were laying next to their moms...couldn't have been more than a few days old! BEAUTIFUL!!! That's what is great about life...not cookie dough or binges....it's about seeing new and wonderful things! :)

Let's all get to 150's!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

Tara

Morning fellow Losers!! :sunny:

Just got back from Indiana University and taking a day's break before heading out to Western Michigan, Ball State and Illinois State Universities. WHEW!!

Met my March exercise challenge - YES :goodvibes

Signed up for the April challenge increasing my minutes. ALSO I have decided to join Weight Watchers and go to the meetings. I am back on Wednesday night and the meeting is Thursday night. I really need someone watching over me. Any success with this? Looking for support :grouphug: This decision has been a long time coming......I have the title of the SLOWEST LOSER in the world. So upping the ante and changing my gameplan!! :cheer2:

Team - Stay Strong. Congrats to all those who have lost  The rest of us (notice me included:) keeping moving and start losing!! :cool1: :cool1:

Am taking the laptop with on this next trek and hope to check in ..........

Have a magical Disney Day!!

Linda

Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday today...and if you don't celebrate Easter..hope this Sunday is beautiful and shiny where you are!!!! :)

Linda....any loser, whether slow or lightning speed is a LOSER!! And actually a slow loser is probably more likely to keep it off! :) If you're losing slowly it means you're making wise decisions and your body is learning to accept this new way of living! :) Hope you had a great time with your dd's!  Great job on the MOVING this month!!! You are toning up and building some great fat-burning muscle! :)

It looks dreary outside here....trying to get up the nerve to do my walk in the windy cold...yesterday was 72 and I think it's 43 out there right now...ick! I've got to come back and devil eggs and bake a ham...not much time today to walk except now! Wish me luck! :)

Tara

Have been totally off track for the last week. This is the start of a new week and a chance to get back on track. Must get back on track so I don't undo everything I have accomplished so far.

Leaving for Long Island after dropping DD2 off at airport (her spring break is over). Will have a slight detour of stopping in to the office to sign all the tax returns I completed this week so they can be mailed. It seems easier for me to exercise when out of town, as it enegizes me and allows me to wake up enough to do the work I take with me. Also, it is better than staring at hotel room walls.

Will post again later if I hit the Island at a reasonable hour.

Happy Easter everyone.

Onward and downward
