just wondering since it says "select" Rapid Rewards Members, if this code is not then specifically meant for the person who receives it????

although i just tried it for my "dates" in may and it seems to work, the discount shows up in the "PRICE" screen

thanks for posting will keep an eye on it....

although it reduced the current cost, it does not match the "rate" we have booked right now

Thanks Matt. I was able to get one seat rt for 178 from Providence to Orlando, and the other for 204. Guess I got the last promo rate available, and the second seat was the "fun rate."

I just wanted to let you all know why I edited the code out.

My first inclination was to allow the code since it is open to SW's Rapid Rewards Members and ANYONE can sign up for the program at no charge.

But I reread the post, and I see that the code was offered to SELECT Rapid Rewards Members, so that is why I removed the code.

I am sure that Matt was just trying to be helpful, but per the DIS's Guidelines for posting, no one is allowed to post codes that are meant for specific people.

BethR I fully understand that you did what you had to........I'm just glad that I got the code yesterday before it was removed and was able to use it. Thanks so much Matt! I am a Rapid Rewards member so I went ahead and used it and got the discount. Today, after I saw that the code had been removed and I read BethR's reason I thought maybe I better check with Southwest just to make sure that I hadn't made some big mistake. I told them that I found the code off the internet and used it and just wanted to make sure that it was okay. She pulled up my ressie and said it was fine and that if I hadn't been allowed to use it then it wouldn't have accepted it. Thanks again Matt!

ok, I did the legal thing and joined Rapid Rewards, but I see no discount code listed. Was this a temporary thing that is now gone? If not where do I find this code?

Did a quick check, called and found out that this code was in special mailings sent out to select Rapid Rewards customers. The women on the phone would not give me the code.
