15 month Annual Pass Offer

Disney made an offer to Annual Passholders renewing their passes this past August. The offer was 15 months for the price of 12. I renewed my pass 3 days before the offer began but I read somewhere that Disney was honoring 30 days before August 2 for those who renewed. I've called ticket services who, in turn, referred me to write Guest Communications. After several messages, I have not received a reply from anyone. Are there any people here who have had Disney honor the 15 month renewal period even though they renewed before August? If so, who did you contact?

Well, this changes my mind on using our new vouchers! We bought new vouchers back in July. Our current APs expire on January 20, 2010, but we don't have a trip until March, so we were going to just activate our new passes then. Given this information, it seems to make sense to renew our current passes within 30 days and save those new vouchers for 2011!

Slightly off topic, but when we picked up our new DVC annual passes at will-call last month, we were pleasantly surprised to find that they gave us the 15 month deal (we were not renewing as we had let our old ones expire in Sept 2008). We didn't ask for it, and didn't realize we got it until a few days later when I remembered to sign the back of the pass.

Is this offer for 15 month only for current non-expired AP's? Or is it available for new AP purchases as well?

It's for renewals only that are done within 30 days before or after the expiration date of the AP. This offer is set to expire on 8/31/2010.

There is an offer for Florida Residents for a new 15 month AP if purchased by 12/31/09.
