I have a crazy plan and I need your assistance to make it a reality. We have a 15 hour layover at CDG. Arrival at 5:30 am, departing at 8:30 pm. I want to use that time to experience Disneyland Paris for the first time ever!

Here are my questions:
How long should I give myself between arrival and a booking on the TGV? Is there a better way to travel between CDG and Disneyland Paris, or is the bullet train the best and most reliable option?

I am thinking of heading back to the airport 4 hours before departure, again using the TGV.

I will be happy with any amount of time spent experiencing Disneyland Paris. 6-8 hours would be amazing.

Please give me an idea of travel time and any tips are super appreciated! We are flying Air France from Canada.

Thank you Disney friends!

I have been to DLP but not from the airport. Here ia a great website that explains everything.

I think you are coming into Terminal 2 and that is the same terminal you can catch the train from. You need to give yourself time for customs. Also check what time the parks open- I remember them not opening very early more like 10am, but that was years ago.

Parks open at 9.30 for the regular public. So to be there at park opening is very doable.

Most reliable is very subjective 😉as even a car service can get stuck in traffic. Train is the shortest (10 minutes), but it is not a frequent schedule. Buses have a frequent schedule, but it takes longer and they can get stuck in traffic, drivers need breaks.

So, I would advise to go for the train. Give yourself a lot of time. Also for the way back, look at the train schedule and how many trains after the one you want to take. 4 hours is plenty, but if your train gets cancelled /delayed and the next one is not for another hour, you will probably get a little stressed 😉 even when 3 hours should still be good.

Another good thing is, you leave your luggage checked in at the airport for your next flight. And your continuing flight is within Europe, I take? That helps going through customs on the way back.

9.30 to about 4 (give yourself time to go from the park to the station) is not a lot of time in the parks, but it can be a great start of your European trip.

Are flying in from the West or East coast of Canada? West coast might give you a few more hours of potential sleep 😉 You might be jetlagged, so take it slow in the parks, look into premier access and guaranteed access to skip some lines.

Thank you for all the tips and insight! It’s helpful. Due to the short time in the parks, we are only planning on visiting Disneyland park.

We are flying from Eastern Canada. It would be great if somehow we slept on the plane. Our next flight is within Europe, so hopefully customs won’t be too bad.

We found the food to be very meh. We ate quickly for fuel to keep going through our day- not because any of it was all that good. What kind of place has fish n' chips on the menu but doesn't have tarter sauce?!

I would invest in paying to skip the line at BTMRR, which is the best version in the world and has a very long line all day, even at rope drop, because of early entry. Phantom Manor is another must do. If you like coasters, Space mountains is very different and much more intense than other versions. I wouldn't stress much otherwise for rides, do what you can, but just being there and some of the unique walkthrough (Castle and Alice in Wonderland) can be a lot of fun.

Hyper Space Mountain was awesome. Easily my favorite ride at Disneyland Paris.
