Just noticed some $148 RT fares for MSP-MCO on American. Might be worth checking to see if your dates are included - especially if your trip is coming up fairly soon.

Not sure about American as I haven't flown them myself. Is it in trouble financially?

Best wishes -

Flew them once last June when NWA had computer issues at MDW. They were fine. I haven't heard about them being in financial straits, but then I haven't been paying attention either.

Airtran also has an add in this morning's Mpls Star Tribune for a $99 (one -way) non-stop fare MSP-MCO. By the time you add taxes and fees it works out to $238 RT. I'd pay that for non-stop, especially if the times worked for me and I was traveling with small children or wheelchairs. Must book by 2/15/2005 and fly by 6/15/2005.

Best wishes -

Hi Carol!

The $216 is gone already...didn't mind, it had a stop and the times were not great.

Airtran could be good, but I think their non stop leaves mid afternoon, like 3pm-ish or something. I did that time once and just didn't care for it. I like getting up and going first thing in the morning. But for a good deal, I am sure there are people out there who will take it.
