...

I'm having the same debate about videography! I really think it would be wonderful to have, but I don't know if we can swing another $1000 for it. We're just going to have a family member use our camcorder and do some raw footage. It won't be the same, but it'll be FREE :rotfl:

From what I've seen, I think Magic Moment is pretty similar in price to STVS.

We have issues with paying a lot for videography too! Well, it isn't the principle of it...the issue is we just don't think we'll have the $$! If have extra money, I'd rather do a dessert party, which isn't even in our budget at this point.

Diane is using Apex Media though for video and I looked at their packages...there is a basic one for only $495, which may be a good deal. We just don't know yet.

I've never tried crawfish, but I haven't had any type of seafood I haven't liked yet! Oh, wait, that is pretty much food in general! And there will be no lack of barley pops and other adult beverages at our at-home party! DF keeps saying we can't call it a "reception" because what we have planned is too casual and red-necky!!!:rotfl2:

Let me know what you decide Courtney...can't wait to read more...

good morning Courtney!

haven't had a chance to catch up on all your plans until today - I'm SO glad your zazzle stamps came out so fantastic. I was planning on ordering them for all my invites with our photo but wasn't sure of the quality. thanks to you, I'm going for it!

everything looks great. the at-home reception sounds like the way for you to go. Having the place ( your yard) cuts a major cost and now you can find all the quality elements ( food, decor, music) to bring it together for you - good luck!

I have a question. You, like many of the other brides on here are getting married at Disney so the photgrapher was a no-brainer. My DF and I are getting married on the Jersey shore on Halloween. Intimate and rather casual. So I was going to have my daughter and other guests take photo's and download them on my laptop. My daughter tells me the other day i should get a photgrapher so i looked around. Found one in the town - $500 for the 1 hour I requested which includes his time and a proof book ( about 100 photos) We are not doing an album - just looking for 1 or 2 great shots to frame.

my question - does this sound reasonable? or should I just go with the original idea and have my daughter take some informal shots the next morning on the beach? she's an amatuer photographer of amazing talent!

sorry to drag on - happy planning Courtney!

Hi Courtney,

I have had your PJ on my mental list of "To-Do's" for a few weeks...GOSH things are hectic!

Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that I think all of your choices are beautiful! I know you will make a beautiful Texas Bride! I'm not an Aggie, but have a ton of family that is... my brother in law has two brothers that were in the Corp...one might know your DF. Small World! :)

Anyways, happy planning...you've got me interested in Zazzle too! I'm ready for things to slow down here, so I can get some organizing and disboarding done before school starts again... The summers go too quickly, especially for teachers!

The gifts are soo nice and your dog is adorable:)

OMG - Courtney your baby is precious.

I know the only thing I am going to have trouble with is leaving my 3 babies for 11 days:confused: :sad2:

Hi read that you ordered zazzle stamps?

I tried to order through them and I googled the Disneyland castle and they sent it back saying they couldn't use the picture because of copyright issues. Did you have any issues like this?

Everything you're doing is beautiful!! I love your rings, your cards & stamps, etc. Did you decide on a dress, or did I miss that somewhere?

The polos are a great idea! I think your family will love them :goodvibes

Delta is so cute!! Isn't it so funny how different they look after a trip to the groomers! Riley's collar always fits funny afterwards because she is so much less hairy ;)
