I am so happy!!! I've been waiting for any good fare to and from Manchester/Providence or Hartford & they just came up!

I just got Providence to Orlando 59.00 each way! If you fly to & from Manchester, the fare into Tampa is 59.00 each way as well... I would have preferred Manchester to Orlando but it was 89.00 each way, so Providence it is! :Pinkbounc

Good for you!!!! When are you flying out of prov? I am trying to get a great rate out of prov for 9/30 but so far that isn't happening. :thumbsup2

We are flying at the end of July... I know they'll lower rates for September... I'm certain of it.... just hold out a few more weeks and I think you will see them....

Thank you for answering so quickly. Did you book your flights ahead of time and then get a credit or did you hold out and book when the special became available?

Our trip is in August. We are booked, but still hoping for a drop. This info definitely gives me hope. I won't mind having SWA credit...since I am seriously thinking about a holiday trip.

No, we did NOT have any airfare at all booked... I was coming to term's with having to pay more than 250 a person to get us down there!!! I almost booked yesterday when they had Manchester to Orlando for 109 each way, I'm so glad I waited!

We're right there with ya 3MOM. We're flying 8/18-8/27 and have already booked flights. Really hoping we can get the same $59 fares that are out for July.

HI, I also just got over $300. credit when my SWA prices (from PVD)dropped for July! I thought the prices would only go this low($59. each way) thru a DING!! I am VERY HAPPY with a credit since we plan on traveling in December. I have been checking SWA prices at least 2x each day(before I even get on the DIS boards!) and came over here to post but saw that someone had already posted! Joan

Congratulations those are great fares! I hope I can get something decent for November. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Great news! :thumbsup2 I am patiently waiting for the end of August. I almost bit at $94.00 on the outbound but I am holding out for lower. I am hopeful that we should see lower rates by next month.
A credit would do me no good if I bought now and the rate went lower as I don't want to put out the money. I have no plans on flying within the year(cruise out of NYC in 07) to use the credit.

I booked for Sept out of Providence. 3 tics cost $714. I booked because I wanted a ns flight. Makes things much easier with a 2 yr old. I figure that I can always get a credit. I also check SW at least once a day.

Hi Mickey_Maniac,
We might know each other. I've got 5 members of my family booked on SWA out of PVD for 8/18 - 8/27 too! And, we are all from Lincoln as well . . .Small World. My sister, her two little ones DS(5), DD(1) and Mom & another nephew (12). I too am playing the waiting game, hoping for lower fares. This is the most I have ever had to pay for PVD-MCO on Southwest.
P.S. what are your flight times? Maybe we'll see you on the plane.

Yikes! I'm from Lincoln too! Well, not anymore, but I grew up in Lincoln - graduated 1983 (I'm showing my age!)

Tigger too, We are booked on the first flight out on that Friday (8:10) and we are coming back on the last flight out on the Sunday (8:15). Might as well get as much time in WDW as we can!!!

What part of Lincoln do you live in? (And why does it say TX in your profile???)

Hi Mickey Maniac & Libade,

I grew up in Lincoln and just moved to the Austin, TX area about 4 years ago.
My parents and two of my sisters still live in Lincoln. I've made all the plans and am flying five of them out on the same dates as you Mickey Maniac, 8/18 - 8/27. They are on the 2nd flight out at 10ish. This is so they can meet me at the Orlando airport. I will be flying in from Austin. (I'm an hour behind, so I couldn't get there early enough out of Austin to meet the early flight out of PVD) They are flying back on the same flight at 8:15 on Sunday night. I agree, the more time at WDW, the better.

Hi Libade, I'm a little older, class of 80, and my younger sister is class of 84 or 85. I forget - getting old you know - the memory is the first to go isn't it??
This is cool - small world. Lincoln is not that big a town. Who knew there were so many Disney fans there!
Feel free to PM me. I'd love to see if any of us know each other. Who knows, some of us may be neighbors.

How funny to read about all of you Lincoln people. I checked this thread because I too am looking for a good fare from PVD 8/22-8/29. Imagine my surprise when I saw all this talk about Lincoln. I live in Albion (part of Lincoln). I graduated in 1989.

Maybe we need to arrange a DIS Meet up here in Lincoln. Sounds like there are enough of us.

Thanks so much for this thread! I just cancelled my JetBlue ressies and booked SW for much less! It was worth the $60 cancellation fee...I still saved over $100!!! And I don't have to pay for the bus into Logan now!
I like T.F. Green better too...
Thanks!!! :cool1:

/ :cool1: Waited to book our trip from Pvd to mco, I was getting very nervous but it finally came, I was able to book us on my dates 9/30 to 10/15 for 400.00 rt for the 3 of us. Now I can rest easy knowing I am actually going to get there to enjoy all the plans I've made...lol :cheer2:

Do you all have Ding? I booked a weekend trip Aug 4-7 for $44 each way earlier this week on a Ding. It was Monday-Saturday July 15-Aug 31. The nonstop fare came out to $105.60. Don't get me wrong $59 is a great fare but we're always looking to save a buck right? Sorry to break up the Lincoln party but I've always lived in Mass.
