Any specific recommendations for where/what to eat with my 13 year old who is a vegetarian? Our fallbacks are pasta and cheese pizze, but I'm wondering what else you might recommend that would be more interesting but not too out there from a kid's point of view. BTW, she eats eggs and dairy but no beef, pork or chicken and would prefer to avoid all seafood. :rolleyes1

Most of the restaurants have salads that are very tasty and Louie's has a veggie pizza that's excellent. I don't know about the other restaurants but I'm sure you will find something on the menus to enjoy.

thanks. I took a look a the menus and there do seem to be some good options. now I'm hungry!

Me and my boyfriend like the veggie burgers at The Burger Digs and Richter's. Confisco's has a veggie pizza and you can order the fajitas without meat. They also have veggie spring rolls. Louie's has fettuccine alfredo and minestrone soup. Mythos has vegetarian options. Pastamore on CityWalk has a great pasta primivera, and the Bob Marley restaurant has a lot of options, as well.

I second the Pasta Primavera at Pastamore at citywalk!

A note on the burgers:

Burger Digs (IOA) is the griller style veggie burger that I prefer and like, especially because there is a toppings bar. They will put cheese on the burger, which is something most vegetarians know to ask because they are usually cheese-less by default.

Richter's (US) is a strong garden burger, there are a ton of carrots, beans, and corn in the patty. They have the toppings bar as well. I wasn't too fond of it, but the vegetarians I know are always split in the garden burger vs. veggie griller debate.

Personally...I would go with The Burger Digs over Richter's but that's just me. :teeth:
