I think that the entire situation is heartbreaking. As a parent, I cannot imagine losing my child in this manner, and I pray that I would treat my child with grace and dignity. I just have no idea how this family is being counseled, because they seem to be so out f touch with reality.Someone is benefiting from their grief and their pain, and that is such a shame.

I do not think she is getting any medical assistance. Ironic that I can't say she is dead now because she has been dead for months. I do think it is time for some lawful authority (have no clue which agency) to step in and debunk these lies. While they are no longer actively fundraising, their accounts are not closed. This has to be criminal.

Think of all the terrible people who claim to have cancer, etc. This case is actually like this. I did have sympathy for the family, but that has evolved into disgust.

Oh ok.. Thanks. The reality is... it's not reality anymore. I think they are just mocking this whole situation and those who believe that the girl is very well alive has no clue. I meant to say honorary. But I am still trying to understand why the school let the students wear Team Jahi shirts months ago. You can feel sympathy, but it doesn't mean you can allow to be manipulated.

If the school volunteered to do it, that is one thing, but once again, the family is calling for people to sway things their way.

There was a guy who apparently broke into a guys apartment when he came back drunk and got off on the wrong floor. Broke off the door handle and managed to get in - probably thinking it was his apartment. The occupant was terrified, got his gun, and shot him. He died later. There were calls to charge the shooter for something, although I don't think that's going anywhere because of the castle doctrine.

However, he almost completed his studies at San Francisco State University, and they decided to award him his bachelor's degree posthumously.

I'd support them giving it to her under the stipulation that they give it to her in person and that media can record the exchange.

According to a news report her name will be announced at graduation and a family member will receive an honorary diploma. I don't have a problem with that.

Neither do I. In my experience it's pretty common for schools to announce the name of members of a class who have died at graduation, and acknowledge them in some way.

But usually the school volunteers to do it and not have swarms of people demand it,.
