13 days to go and now all packed!

We leave for WDW next Wed (the 18th) and the thought of packing now hasn't even occurred to me! Lol! I know if I pack now, I'll end up needing something out of my suitcase everyday up until when we leave, so it's not worth the hassle! But I'm taking three lil' ladies, so maybe tonight I'll get their airplane princess backpacks all packed up!

My wife said the same thing. I'm happy to wear slobbing clothes for the next 12 days! (Unless we go out....)

We fly on the 13th and I've been itching to pack for weeks. I put all our casual clothes in a suitcase last week and the smarter ones are ironed and hanging up near it. Sorted all the toiletries and general 'stuff' yesterday so am looking forward to a day of officially putting it in the cases tomorrow-that's when I might actually be able to believe we're really going

We leave from Manchester on 28th.
We usually have take away the night before but this yr using some tesco vouchers at Pizza Express.

I try not to pack til the week before as I always end up taking things back out to use etc. Probably pack on Sunday 22nd and make a bit of a meal of it

We find sleeping nearly impossible the night before. Always wake up early like a 5 up year old kid on Christmas Day...

Yes I find it hard enough sleeping in a strange bed but I can usually manage a couple of hours sleep but its tough knowing that the next night I will be at WDW.

I fly from Manchester on the 19th, nearly at single digits!!!

Not even looked at my case, let alone packed!

My ritual before any holiday is;

Play Xbox ALL NIGHT, I can never sleep so I may aswell enjoy it!

Have a few bevarages at the bar in the airport.

We have just over 4 weeks now and I will spend that time de junking at home, and moaning about how much there is to do!
Typical woman!

Then about 10-14 days before things will start being put in the case, and then taken out again, and moved around and then re packed again! LOL!

The final few days I intend to do cleaning and change bed sheets etc and drop the rabbit off with my friend.
Final bits of packing.

Empty out the fridge etc.

I finish work at 12pm on the 11th Oct (Friday), dash home to change, run around the house worrying and checking all the locks for the hundreth time and then pick the kids up from school and nursery and then we're off to Premier Inn at Gatwick before flying out on the Sat morning at 10:50am on the Dreamliner.

Friday night at the hotel ideally would be spent relaxing with some snacks and a wine but will probably be spent trying to get the kids off to sleep!
They stayed up til gone 10pm the night before DLP so I'm not expecting them to get to sleep too early but you never know!!

We have got 39 days left to go and mega excited, so I cannot imagine how you must be feeling??

We will be picking the boys up from school at lunchtime before travelling down to Gatwick to miss the M25 rush hour!

Dinner at the hotel before getting up the next morning and making our way over to the airport.

I always like to go get magazines and water for the plane and then we go to an airport lounge.

You will be there same time as us we fly from Glasgow on the 12th.
I'm also on a 12pm finish so probably won't be getting much work done that day.
And thankfully it's just me DH has to worry about going to sleep I'm bad enough LOL.
