So, I guess intros are in order.

Hi! My name is Terk-1 and I am 17 days away from my 19th trip to Walt Disney World! HOORAY!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I am soloing the World for the first 5 days, then my brother, sister & brother-in-law join me on Day 6. This is a first visit for my brother & brother-in-law, so super excited about that.

So, I was already planning my next trip to Disney World when my sister came to me to say that they wanted to come to. Really??? :scared1: Well, alrighty then, let me get planning. :yay: Now I should say that I am the Disney one in the family. My sisters & brother have been before, but just not as much as I have.

Wanted to go when it was not too hot or crowded so I decided on the 2nd week of November. I primarily chose that week, as it was the last full week of EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival. None of them have been to that before and they all love food & wine, so it was the perfect choice.

Next hurdle was where to stay. We wanted to keep the package under $1,500 per person, so the deluxe's were out. The values are a bit too Disney and did not want to shove it down there throats that much, so it was the moderates. I have already stayed at the French Quarter, Riverside & Caribbean Beach. Having not liked either the Riverside or Caribbean Beach and seeing how spread out Coronado Springs was, it was a simple choice to go with the French Quarter. Both my sister & I have stayed here before and LOVED it!!

Next step.... Choosing the right package.

Now that I chose the resort, next it was to choose the right package that would work for all of us.

I love the fact that all of the transportation is included in the price. No need to rent a car, not even to get to or from the airport. YAY!!!

Passes - Had to have park hopper passes. I love the flexibility of going to one park in the morning, then going to a different one at night. I find that this helps to minimize park overkill. It also lets us take advantage of an AM EMH park in the morning, then going to a different park to an PM EMH park at night.

Meal Plan - Tha plan was that we were going to book the deluxe dining plan, but we started off with booking our package without the meal plan included, hoping that they would extend the free dining plan. HOORAYY!!! :yay: :woohoo: They extended the free dining plan, so we got that added to our package, then spent the $30 per night per person to upgrade to the deluxe. As we are 4 adults, I really wanted to hit several of the signature restaurants, so that the newbies did not think all there was to eat was chicken fingers or burgers.

Next step... Where to dine!
