Here is my prototype for the black group. I will be adding rhinestones to the corner on the cut out paper. I may add a black stamped flourish in the upper corner. Have to see if I can get it to look right on the textured paper. [they aren't glued down yet, they will straight, promise]

This is pretty cool. Is that printed paper, or is it that lace-like paper?
Your pink cutting mat constantly confuses me. I have that quick -- what's up with the pink skinny border moment.

It does it to me too. Why do I have a pink border? Oh yes, that is my mat, duh.

It is the Creative Imaginations die cut paper. I cut it at an angle and then cut off the sharp pieces to make curves more pronounced. I tried it over black paper, but it didn't show up enough under a page protector.

It is very pretty. Is it expensive? I bought so much paper on black Friday I can't buy anymore. I don't have room for it as is. Plus, I know I have to have a re-sorting day and that is just not fun.

$1.99 a sheet at Hobby Lobby. They had the black swirl, red hearts, yellow flowers and white polka dots.

Here is my Fall prototype...'bout time. All 4 of my layouts are done. The picture I took of my Winter group is not the way it is now, but you'll get the idea...I have all of the other ones spec'ed out, but haven't finished the protoypes yet.

I am having problems with title areas for the spots I am working on today. I am doing dog and cat....can't think of a title and a tilte box doesn't look right. I will post a pic in a few and get some advice.

Now, I have to cut some things out for Cricut.

Cat - Sorry it is blurry. Title box looked stupid to me. I thought maybe letters could be placed on page or on one of the tags. Both borders are sewn as well as mats and tags. Sorry for quality of pic. Any ideas?

Travel- I plan to cut out the Wish you were here design form Going places out of one of hte printed papers and matting it on red. In the other empty spot, I hope to make a journal box or maybe make a layered T that can be written on.

What about CAT cut out of the pretty paper layered on top of the lighter solid color for the shadow? If you slide the left side tag down a little, there should be plenty of room above it for 1-3/4" letters.

On Cat I would turn the striped mat vertical and tuck the journal tag behind the horizontal mat for hidden journalling. Then that would free up space for a title.

on the travel page can you make the journal box an arrow or a stop sign or something. I just looked at "wish you were here" I would go with an arrow of some sort.

I changed the black page a little. There are rhinestone brads in the corners, some rhinestones & black stickle dots on the swirl ends. I'm not sure if shows up in the picture, but they look real nice in person.

Dog - I plan on cutting something from the paper pups cart for the title and then some type of journaling something.

I have got Baby Girl and Baby Boy cut and the mats glued. I just have 24 mats that have to be sewn before I post.

I can't just do a prototype - I have to do the 4 sets at the same time.
