12x12 paper storage

Has anyone looked at Staples or something like that? I haven't but I hope this fall to create an area and would love something like that for storage. But it is way too expensive. I know they sell the legal size trays. May have to make a road trip! just to do some price shopping!

I really like the look of these too, but I agree that they're expensive. I have searched at Office Depot, Walmart, etc. and can't find anything 12x12.

Did anybody see the article a couple of months ago about Becky Higgins scrapbook room that was in Creative Keepsakes? She had the greatest desk with drawers that held 12x12 file folders. I'm not sure that those wouldn't bend. Anyway I called the company (I think it was Making Memories) and the products were not going to be available until May, and they didn't even know how much they would be!

I would like to price the wire stacking paper shelves. I have a feeling that if I could see my paper colors it would help.

The MM files are available now, and they come in both hanging files and regular files. My problem with those is that you will face the bending thing that others have had trouble with. That's why I decided to use the craft keepers, which are closed on the sides and wouldn't allow for bending (I cut off the tops so they're open like files).

I have looked at Staples for 12x12 storage stuff--folders, whatever, with no luck. I think it's just too new to be there yet. I'm sure after all of us have spent the big bucks to get our storage just right they'll start carrying everything at a fraction of what we paid!!!! ;)

I want to check with my LSS she sends out a 40% off coupon each month. It would be great if she carries this product! I would get it then!

I used legal size paper trays for a while - I got some that were open on the long side, so the paper did stick out a little bit, but I just put a piece of thicker card at the bottom of the pile. I was quite happy with it for a while, but I only had 6, when I wanted more I thought it was going to work out quite expensive and also bulky, so I ended up using the wire storage cubes, and I have 18 shelves in 2 cubes which is a much more effecient use of space.

I really like the trays too, but I think it would be even harder to sift for a certain sheet in a tray. I really have no problem in my hard sided memory file type thing. I bought it at AC Moore for $15.00. No buckling ever.

Hi Danareed and welcome to the boards! It means Local scrapbook store.
