Bump!

Guess this will not be a full cruise. Maybe we'll get an upgrade.:wave2:

Hi

We will be joining you on this trip. My husband and 2 daughters, ages 15 and 6 are excited about this trip. Its our first time aboard.

Ula

Hi Ula

I'm Mandy, I'm from England and I will be travelling with my hubby and 2 daughters age 14 and 12. You are all going to have a fantastic time and I hope we will get the chance to meet up.

Hey Ula! Welcome to our little group. I'm traveling with my daughter, Callie (11 1/2) and my mother and sister. While my mother has cruised decades ago, this is first cruise for the rest of us. DD and I are WDW nuts however!

Mandy, sorry haven't e mailed back. Busy week but it's finally over-Yeah! Will write back soon. Callie owes Becky a note too.

Well, we have 26 more days! I was sick of work this afternoon so started a packing list! Makes the time pass.

Debbie, DD may wear some pirate gear. I don't think anyone else in our party will but I certainly think there will be plenty that do. Callie and I will be going on to WDW for just a couple of nights to meet up with some disboard friends. Then back to school for her. She'll be missing 4 days of school for this trip but I had no choice but to go during school.

Anyway, happy Friday everone! Just think....next week we'll hit the teens! Sure hope the docs arrive before then or will start worrying.

Sharon

:cool1:

The documents have arrived! Whooo Hoo.

Disney isn't making the flight arrangements easy on us however! Callie and I (she and I are staying two extra nights at end in WDW) have Delta leaving here at 5:30 am, going to Atlanta, then on to Orlando to arrive at 10:42am. They booked ours when we did the reservation because of our air deviation.

My mother and sister have a 7:30am flight nonstop from here to MCO arriving at 10:40am.

I'm relieved that Mom got the nonstop because frankly I was worried about her doing the extra walking in Atlanta but they have sure made getting to the airport more difficult with our flights two hours apart. I guess we'll all still go together but DM and DS will have some quality airport time.

Oh well, still dancing!

23 days to go!

Sharon

Sharon,

Is this a cruise you won playing, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" on a pervious cruise?

Curious
Debbie

I did win the cruise, but it was at the Who Wants to be a Millionaire-Play it! attraction at the MGM Studios in WDW! This is my first ever cruise.

Hi

The time seem to be going so fast and I'm still not started packing. We have to go out and buy more summer clothes this weekend. I love shopping. My oldest daughter is talking to Kerry almost every day by email. She is excited. I really need this vacation. I hope the weather is really hot. I love heat.

Its a cloudy day today, but yesterday it reach a high of 28. Nice. I was thinking about opening up our pool, but decided not to. Too early. It will be nice to meet both yourself and Mandy on this cruise. We are staying in Port Carinaval for 4 days and hitting the boat on the 12th.

Ula
17 days left.

Hi everyone

Time is flying by - isn't it? I'm really excited and dying to start packing, but Kerry won't let me have her clothes for another week yet !! - LOL

I think getting the documents last week finally sent me over the edge :rotfl: I'm constantly thinking about Castaway Cay and Pirate Night (even in the middle of the night !!)

It has been great fun for my girls to e-mail Danielle and Callie, and it's nice for them to have new friends even before the cruise.

I hope that everyone has received their docs

See ya soon

Hi

I received my documents last week and finally realize that I'm really going on this cruise.

I'm at work, have to go, but will talk to ya later.

Ula

Howdy everyone!
My dh just called me an hour ago and told me that we are going on this cruise, it will be our 6th disney cruise. We have our 7th booked for this December 17th (7 day) and then we have 7 day back to back cruises booked for the end of November and first of December 2006.
This time it's just the two of us. We'll say that we are physically middle aged, but mentally we are Disney kids. We are from Florida. we live in Poinciana, which is near to WDW. We go there all the time as we have annual passes. I'm a real Disney fanatic, my house is filled with Disney stuff. One of ur sons and his wife work doe Disney too.
Have you folks set a meeting place and time to try and meet each other?
Most threads I've read seem to meet around 3 or 3:30 in the Promenade lounge, because it'a easily accessable for everyone and most people have been to their rooms to leave their luggage already and have a few minutes until the safety drill. Let me know, I'll make it if we are on time.
My real name is Kathleen, and hubby is Greg.
Hope to meet all of you very soon.

Hi

Because this is my first time on the Criuse line, I'm not sure where everyone meets and at what time. Please let me know because I would love to meet everyone.

Ula

DD and I will be on this cruise. It's our first one. We are going for DD's 5th birthday (the 15th). We can't wait. My parents are also going as well as my sister and grandmother. I booked a category 12 GTY and was very pleased to be upgraded to a category 9. We have the early dinner seating. 3 weeks from today we'll be staying at ASMu for one night before the cruise.

Hi Kathleen & Julie

It's great to have some new people on our thread, we've been doing this thread for months now and there's only been about 4 of us (mind you I think we were all hoping for major upgrades if no-one else was travelling - LOL :rotfl: )

Yes Ula, we'll have to arrange a mini-meet, I guess it depends on when people are arriving. We will be arriving at the terminal for opening (approx. 10.30am), so some of us could meet there (by the model ship perhaps) or for those arriving later, we could meet up around 3/3.30pm for a Bahama Mama in the Promenade Lounge (before the Life Jacket Drill) - I will just go with the flow, I really don't mind, infact we could do both !!!

Can't wait to meet you all

mandymouse :earsgirl:

p.s. F1Julie, is your name because you like Formula One racing, or has it another meaning ??

MandyMouse, you are right. I am a huge Formula 1 fan. I'll be up very early this weekend watching the race from Imola.

JUST CAUGHT UP WITH YOUR POST, OUR FAMILY OF FOUR WILL ALSO BE ON BOARD, THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST CRUISE SO WERE NOT SURE WHAT TO EXPECT, BUT HEY ITS DISNEY SO IT HAS TO BE GOOD, PLUS IT WILL BE NICE TO BE IN THE WARM WEATHER. HAPPYSAILING

:cool1:
Welcome aboard!
Your gonna have a fantastic time. This will be our 6th disney cruise and 7 and 8 are already booked. We got hooked on the first cruise.
The only bad thing is when you have to get off the ship for the last time. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
As we were leaving the ship on the last cruise they were playing the 7 dwarfs song "Hi ho , hi ho, it's off to work we go!
We did not need to hear that!!! It got a big response from the crowd waiting to get off.
It was pretty funny to see different reactions from the guests.
Hope to meet you on board.

:goodvibes :goodvibes 20 days! :goodvibes

So excited to see the days go by and more folks joining our little thread!

I had thought I'd put togeather a list of everyone that's going. If you're interested, you can send me your info...who's going, age of kids, late/early seating, cabin assignment, whatever you want to share. I'll put a list together and send to whoever wants one. You can either e mail me (address in profile) or post here.

now, to work (yuck)

Sharon

Hi TBBUCS1, welcome to our thread, I know what you mean, I can't wait for some sunshine and heat (it feels like it's been a long Winter here in the UK - not much snow but quite cold)

F1Julie, DH and I are huge Formula One fans (our dream for when we're older and the kids have flown the nest is to go to Indianapolis and some European F1 curcuits), obviously we're big on Jenson Button (UK), but my fave is still Michael Schumacher (even though he's having a bad start to the season). We've been to Silverstone a couple of times to see F1, it really has a great atmosphere.

Take care

mandymouse :earsgirl:

Sharon,
That is a great idea. Thankyou for doing it for us. If everyone includes their room numbers then people can still find each other to say hi, even if they miss the first meeting that people had talked about doing.
here is our information
