The waving goodbye to Mickey one was strange with loads of people there..when we said goodbye there was only about 7 of us and 4 was our family
Great that you get to wear cool clothes too.....I sooo gotta get outta the January routine!

Anyway on to

Day 3

Goofy woke us up at some time around 7, and Jo yet again was not so impressed at getting up so early.. And a small domestic erupted... Of course it goes without saying that I won , and soon we were off on our way to have our GMFL Brekkie!!

For me the earlier we get in the parks the better.. Again not the same for Jo.. Especially when he doesn't like the breakfast choice... Luckily, the boy loves animals, so as we were sitting outside with out breakfast, he made some friends with some birdies, and that brought him out of his oh so lovely mood...

After this we went to Pirates of the Carribean...

Then we wondered over to Frontierland, where JO spotted another one of his mates..

hehe..

Then we jumped in the queue to meet my favourites..... Chip & Dale

I don't like this photo, for 2 reasons, my face and Jo's awful awful hat!!! But I love it for 2 other reasons, yes, predictable, chip and dale... lol

Then BTM time

Then we had a wonder up to Woody's Roundup, and yet more friends for Jo, though, I love them too!

I want one...

At this time, we decided to head over to the studios.. On the way we met Aladdin and Jasmine

The character express passed us on the way out..

We got to the studios, sat down for a few minutes, and decided that we'd actually head back to the hotel for a swim and stuff, it was really hot, and I felt bad for Jo, as much as I'd like to be in the parks all day, it made sense..

On the way out we saw Chicken Little...

So, yeah, back to Sequoia Lodge, for some swimming and showering... I made Jo straighten my hair, because, he does it a lot better than me (one useful thing about having a hairdresser boyfriend), and then back out to the parks...

But first a bit of poserige (and outfit change) in front of SL..

We got to main street just in time for the character express wayyy =)..

The only down side to these things is the pushing, I would never push in front of a kid, and I don't mind when they go ahead of me, but when people my own age can't queue, then that's a bit annoying, but I'm too shy to say anything, and am quite happy to wait my turn.. In fact thinking back to when I was younger, I would never push or anything, and just wait, it's a shame when you see a child who is obviously a bit shy, and they just don't get a turn with the character... One example, (after this I'll stop the rantage), there was this little boy with a jungle book t-shirt on waiting for balloo, he must have been waiting since he got off the train really, but kids and parents kept pushing him out the way, in the end balloo called him up, but he was so upset by then, it was really ruined for him... =(...

Anywayyy, yeah I waited my turn and Suzy called me over =)

Anyway, after danced the train off, we headed back over to the studios, but first I bought some ears, wooo!

Then we TOT'd, and yes, Jo's reaction, still HILARIOUS!!!

He grabbed my hands well hard haha!!

We probably did RnR a few times, there was never a queue!

Then we headed back out

Got back to SL, and had a little drink in the bar, I looooove this bar (so cozy)..

For dinner, we went to Planet Hollywood.

Jo had the Ribs, they were massive! He said they were really nice aswell... I had swordfish which was lovely... I can't remember what we had to drink, cocktails of some sort, and they were also very very nice...

They take a photo of you at your table, we ended up buying it...

After our lovely meal, we had a bit of fun posing... As you do..

Then we went to the games arcade thing, and played Air Hockey... Jo won =( ...

Bit of both, I'm a bit of a geek with my camera, so constantly changing settings and stuff to get the effect I want... But obviously some are edited ..
So far in this thread I've had fern cotten, lol! But I think both are far far more stunning than I am... The most used comparison I get at the moment is Barbie

Hahaa! He looooves the ducks... Everytime we walked to or from the parks/disney village, he always stopped to talk to the ducks in the lake... And then we had to go and visit Woody's round-up a lot so he could see the ducklings... Bless him...

Great Trip report!!

Getting me super excited for my september trip!

We were treated really well actually, characters called us over for pictures and stuff when they noticed us waiting.. Restaurants were really good with us, all cast members were lovely and friendly... I think as long as you act correctly then everything is all good, we had some good chats with cast members, and a lot of characters played around with us...Especially at cafe mickeys (next day)...

Jo really got into the spirit of disney while we were there, getting excited about meeting characters and dancing to all the music, (especially character express, we'd usually get laughed at by characters), and had taken to collecting autographs on the last day! haha!.. I think it's out of their control really, as much as your DBF may not be in the Disney spirit right now, he won't be able to help it when he's there!..

I'm jealous, I wish I was going in Sept! lol... I'm sure you and your DBF will have an amazing time! Eeee I'm excited for yoooou!!!

Day 4

This day was our best in a lot of ways...

So early morning wake up call from Goofy as usual... Bickering over earlyness and "rubbish breakfast I don't even like" (yes quote from Jo), as usual.. But still off we went to make it to GMFL Brekki once again..

Another castle pic... As you can see the weather wasn't looking to bright today..

Jo tried to prove he was the rightful king....

He wasn't ... hehe...

After breakfast I think we went on Peter Pans, I love ittt!

Then frontierland, and too my delight, Chip and Dale were doing Meet and Greet, yayyyyyy!!!! And no silly outfits wooo!!! I love them a lot lot lot!

This meet, began a day of really good character interaction...

It had started to rain so the brothers had decided to try and put the umbrella up, which turned into a bit of hiding from jo and getting stuck... Anyway, no such luck with the umbrella...

Nice picture though..

Then my turn... I got a bit embarrased, but enjoyed every second... First Dale decided that Chip wasn't allowed to be in our photo, I was all his baby, haha!!

Then I turned to chip and told him it was ok and to come and have a photo with us... Seemed I caused some sibling rivalry..

Dale wasn't happy that I was now Chips

But in the end I got a photo with my beloved...

Then a bit more fighting, but they made up just in time for a group photo..

I was laughing the whole way through, so a look worse than usual uh ohhhh.. But still love the pictures awesome memories!!

Then we headed to Woody's round up to see the ducks for Jo... But when we got there, no ducklings in sight, just a few adult ducks, Jo was still happy to see them... As we kept walking in, we noticed a little boy, chasing and kicking the ducks.. Jo was furious, but we were both relieved when a cast member came over to him and told him to stop and explained you have to be nice to the ducks, but as soon as he had disapeared, the boys FATHER was making kicking gestures at the boy, and we can only assume that what he was saying was also to kick the ducks... We thought that this was absoloutly disgusting...

That's so true! Same with my hubby. Think he's more excited than my daughter at the thought of a second trip back!

*Day 4 Continued*

So after meeting Jessie and the duck drama, we decided to head over to the studios, but while walking we noticed a group of characters almost alone by Cowboy Cookout...

Pluto:

Governor Ratcliffe:

The Prince John and The Tax Collecter.
These two were brilliant.. They kept walking up to people and asking for money. They couldn't accept Jo's response of not having any money, so searched his pockets, and found his lighter, The Tax Collecter Bit it, and studied it, and then realised it wasn't worth anything to him, and passed it to Prince John who did the same... Eventually he got it back...

When it came to me, they accepted I hadn't any money, but though if they chopped my hair off, it might be worth something...

Thankfully I managed to escape with my hair still in tact and we made it over to the Studios.

First Stop ToT.

Then Armageddon... All good fun..

We must have got some food along the way or something.. Anyway we headed back over to MK to go and get our spot for the parade, got some sweets on the way yummm.. They were gone long before the parade came.. We sat by Bella Notte but the other side... Last year I had always seen the parade from the left side, so wanted to see it from the right, haha...

Anyway we waited and then it came wooo!
