I went to the website this morning to finish my CD and when I placed it in the cart the total was $129.95 for ONE CD. What happened to the $59 deal?

I ordered my DLR (with some WDW at the start) PP CD on 11/11 and since DLR pix were the last ones taken I was charged the $59.95 price. However, another disboarder who did hte same thing posted that she was charged the WDW price ($129.95 or $99.95 pre-paid) even though her DLR pix were taken last.

I know the day after I ordered my CD-Nov. 12th, the site was temporarily down for upgrades and I wonder if the upgrade they did was removing the different pricing? If so, that's a bummer because I was planning on doing another CD of DLR only, but I won't pay $129.95 for it. That's just too much. :confused3

ADDED-okay, right now I'm logging on to the PP website and I'll see what price they would charge me if I ordered my CD today (all my pix are still there even though some exp. on 11/12 and 11/3)

This may take awhile as I have over 2000 pix and some times just getting it to load takes a few attempts. I'll post here what they would charge me today.

Well, I can't help. If I ordered a CD today with both WDW and DLR pix on it (WDW first, DLR last) it would be $59.95 and $19.95 for additional copies.

Can't say why yours is charging you the higher price. I would send PP an email to ask why. Good luck. :tink:

well, i added my album today from our trip last month. we are getting ready to go (maybe) this weekend and i wanted to make sure my pics didn't expire.

just checked, they are only going to charge me 59.95 for my cd plus 19.95 for an additional copy.

Dally Girl, any news? Just curious, were they all from DLR, or a mix of WDW and DLR?

TIA

Look around the site for any special offers. Last year this happened to me, but when I checked the special offers area, if you ordered 3 5x7 prints they took off something like 40% so my out of pocket with the 3 pictures were under $100 maybe less. It's the holiday season. Blah

Wow, I paid that price for the CD AND the memory photo album!

I actually regret buying the CD, and not just ordering the prints I wanted. It's been such a hassle here locally for any of the stores to want to accept that I can make copies!

Did you print out that paper and show them? The photo release? If they do not accept it, go over their head to the manager. I had the exact same trouble, but when I went to the manager he had actually done photopass himself so he informed the people working the machine. Really made me irritated. :confused3

good luck

It really should be only the 59, though. That's what is showing up for me, and I only have DLR photopass card ID numbers in my account, and others who only have DLR numbers in there have said the same thing.

JenDisneylandlver, I'd just get them printed from an online place if none of them want to believe the release.

I actually heard of a small photo printing place looking at the release and reading it as though it gives the rights to the buyer to basically have the images and the disc, but NOT make prints from it! :rotfl: No one at that place would let the Dis'er print there. :headache:

Did the OP ever get this sorted out? :confused3

I'm wondering too... just back from WDW, and have about 70 Photopass on there. I was planning on hitting DL on Monday to get a few Photopass shots (as well as do a little shopping) and that way I could get the CD for the $59...

is the photopass cd website different for disneyworld than disneyland? i went to disneyphotopass.com and it's only showing the photopass cd for wdw at $129. How do I get the photopass cd for disneyland at 59?

It's the same site. When you enter your PP #'s the system will know if they are DLR or WDW. They actually start with either WDW or DLR ( or something else for other parks). It's always been that you will be charged the price based on the last PP card you enter. However, I'm not sure if that's true anymore but a quick question to Guest Services (by email) should answer that question. I wonder if they now base the price on which park you have the most pictures instead. :confused3

And I too would like to hear back from PP-enquiring minds, and all. :rotfl2:

Prior to my WDW visit, I could only get Photopass to show up as the $59 for DLR... probably because the only photopass cards I have ever entered were from DLR. Once I entered in a WDW card, now only the $129 shows up. I had originally wanted to prepay for a photopass for $99 like I had heard you could do for WDW, but could never get any WDW deal to show up. :confused3

Now of course that it has *magically* figured out that I have been to WDW, my DL rates have disappeared...:sad2:

I guess I'll try tomorrow and see what happens!

I'm curious if the cost of the CD alone is cheaper if you buy it online or in the park? Last year folks said it would be cheaper to buy in the park, but I'd lose out on the ability to add the cute embellishments you can do online. I was thinking it would be around $60, but DH wound up paying $80ish in the park (and getting 3 "free" 5x7 prints.)

If it's cheaper to get online, I'll just wait until I get home. Then I'll get to check out all the cute add-ons, too! :cool1:

Once you enter your DLR PP # the price should change to $59. That's what it did for me. And I ordered earlier this month.

Let us know as it looks like the OP must have solved her problem as she hasn't responded. I'm wondering if they've changed the way they do it. Is it based on last PP # entered, or on which park has the most pix?

I don't know! I hope it's the PP entered last- since I have over 80 photopass pics from WDW... and I don't think I'll be getting 90 pictures at DLR tomorrow!:rotfl: I was only planning on doing a few tomorrow just to have the number to input.

I hope so too for your sake-let us know. TIA And have fun!
