Cass - Hi! Is everyone getting excited at your house? Where are you staying this time? PM me if you want to figure out a time/place for us to get together while you're in WDW.![]()
I would have loved to have gotten together - although not at V&A's because they don't have chicken fingers
I'll be here waiting....
...I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time...you totally deserve it!!
That's exactly how I feel when making a Disney Dining Plan and then the actual eating!
I can't believe you went to V&A twice! WOW! I don't even know when we'll be able to make it there! I cannot wait to see the pictures and hear all about it! I want to know if it's really worth it and it sounds like it must be!

Well, we weren't planning on going to Victoria & Albert's twice! When we were having dinner in the main dining room on Dec. 16th, Israel Perez, the Maitre d Hotel, came over to our table to talk with us, and at the end of our conversation, he offered us the Chef's Table for Christmas Eve! Needless to say, we were all in shock. We told him that we appreciated his kind offer and that we would consider it. The final decision was made by dessert! We accepted his offer! It was AMAZING having Christmas Eve dinner at the Chef's Table in Victoria & Albert's!!!![]()
As far as the hotel choice... I would have to lean towards a tower MK view Contemporary room. The view is the best on property. We liked the Grand Floridian, but we loved the Contemporary. Having California Grill right above you is wonderful. It's still one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. Plus, if you do decide to have dinner at Victoria & Albert's, it's just a short monorail trip away. We thought it would be better to be at the Grand and just walk to V&A, but since we were not in the main building, that walk is outside. If the weather is bad/raining you're doomed! Hey, when are you going to be moving down there?

You got offered the Chef's Table!
Lucky you! That must have been such an amazing Christmas Eve!
I can't wait to hear all about the experience! I can't believe the table was available and then you got it! How neat! What a magical moment!
Thanks for the info on the resorts! How were the rooms at the GF inside compared to the Contemporary? I am also a fan of the Contemporary! My parents actually stayed there for their Disneymoon back in 1974!
Oh, and we are closing on the house on January 8!
My Mom and I are on our way down to start moving in on the 9! DH will still be stuck here with work for a bit. I am soooo excited!!
