I'm looking to make our first family trip after looking into purchasing a vacation club membership i figured this would be a great way to get a feel for the resorts as I've never stayed on a Disney property since i was a child many years ago.

we are currently Disney annual members with weekday access so any 3 weekday nights in december prior to the 24th.

We also rented a few times before buying in. I recommend renting, it works great. AKL Is a well themed resort reasonably priced. Jambo house, savanna view, deluxe studio is available Dec 14-18.
There are not any groups of three nights at any magic kingdom resort in your date range. Would you like to move forward with booking AKL?

If you are referring to December, those dates are not available. At Jambo house, Standard view 23-28 and savanna view 22-25 are the only dates available that have more than 1 night in a row in December.

i believe I could book on Oct 18, 2020 for Sept 18, 2021. I use a contract. When booking that far out, I collect 10% at the time of booking, 40% 60 days later, and 50% 60 days before checkin. You can cancel anytime but all payments are non refundable.

Do you know if you will be able to book for the 50th anniversary, October 1? Wasn't sure since non-dvc rooms can only be booked with Disney right now through the end of September.

I’ll be able to book at AKL 11 months in advance. That would be booking Nov 1 2020 for a Oct 1 2021 trip. Booking a trip that starts early, say September 25 2021, that extends through a popular date will increase your odds of having a room available.
