HI. Just thought I'd share with y’all that my local Costco in the ‘burbs of Boston had two different 12 x 12 packs of paper. The solid pack 300tc - 15 sheets of 20 different colors - was $12.99. The other pack is a mix of patterns and colors with coordinating solids. 360tc - 4 sheets of 90 different ones - was $11.99. My best friend in California had mentioned that she had seen them in the Northern CA ones, too. Just thought I'd pass the info on :-)

I saw the paper (I am in Nor. Calif) but I have 3 stacks and a slab and soooo don't need anymore PP. I did buy the cardstock - 300 sheets for $12.99, as I can always find a use for cardstock :)

is it a nice quality???
I know it wouldn't be like Bazzil you all speak of....but you felt it was worth the price.....?

I haven't opened it yet ... I need to get another "thing" to put it in. Any suggestions? I have to be able to move it easily from my craft table - a.k.a. the dining room table - and the spare bedroom for storage. I have one large 13 slot accordian folder type thing and another 26 slot with a lid and handle.

I got the plain paper pack a while ago, and I have been happy with the quality. I haven't seen the patterned one, but I haven't looked there in a while either. It's going on the list for the nest trip! ;)

So they have these in our neck of the wood....(I feel like Al Roker) - will have to check it out,,,,,

Are the rooms on the same floor? I just bought this and it works great:

I am still organizing my area and will post pics when I'm finished, but I love this little cart! It's much cheaper than buying the specific 12x12 folders made for scrappers.

yes it is on the same floor ... I'll have to take a closer look at that later ...

I see you are in Elk Grove, I grew up in Sacramento (Greenhaven/Pocket Area), my best friend and parents still live there :-) what a small world it is!

I need to visit my sister. She lives in the Boston area & belongs to Costco. I need a road trip! We always need more paper, don't we? (Yeah, like I need another hole in the head!)

yeah, I told my DBF in the car today that I'm not allowed to buy ANY more paper except for a special piece here and there.

I'd gotten one of those stacks of cardstock at CostCo back in late winter/early spring. I was happy enough with the quality, but honestly there were some colors that I just haven't used yet & can't imagine using. It's not like it matches like Bazzill does, you know? DH just doesn't get why I keep picking up cardstock at Mikes/ACM when it's on sale when I "still have so much"! :rotfl2: What he doesn't get is that I ran out of Mickey colors (black, yellow & deep red) before Easter!

I went with three 50% off coupons today determined to get some Bazzill at ACM. But the selection of colors is just...odd. :confused3 I'd much rather get it there with a coupon than buy single sheets at the LSS for 50 cents each...but I guess I'll just keep doing that for now.

It's a good thing I don't belong to Costco though. I have to wait for DSis (MsSocks) to take me or I'd be there tomorrow looking for that patterned paper. :rotfl2:

Mom bought the patterned paper last week & split it with me & I've used some already- cute patterns & nice quality!

I have family in Elk Grove too!! it's a small world afterall.....

Maybe after the first of the year we could swap again the stuff we don't want/need. That was fun! Or donate the unused paper to a charity. I know a locall homeless shcelter near us is always looking for craft supplies. Just a thought ....

that sounds like a great idea :-)

That's a great idea - and you're right, it was really fun when we shared our "extras" recently! I wouldn't have thought about sending CS though since it doesn't fit in the standard Priority envelopes. For a creative person there are times when my though processes are incredibly linear! :rotfl2:

I had a thought while I was laying in bed wide awake at 3am. (I hate getting old - that happens far too often.) I was planning to make small scrapbooks for DH's siblings of my ILs photos that I'd gathered for their 50th anniversary...since they're nearly all B&W photos I could use some of the colors in those books.

Save those odd colors for the next color swap! I'm sure that there are a dozen people who do have use for the color, even if you don't :)

Yes, it IS a small world! Elk Grove is becoming a large town in the Sac area, for sure. The traffic congestion in town alone is becoming a PITA.
