12 Night Greek Isles

I spent hours on the phone two different days this week booking both placeholders and getting situated on this cruise for next year. I am so excited! I am looking for others who are also going to connect and also to find out if anyone knows which are the best things to do at these ports. It's so overjoying I can't sit still long enough to focus on one port. Also looking at adding Land things to either end of the trip and curious what others are doing with this time.

We are not going n 2026, but went on the 2023 version and 2013 version. Feel free to ask any questions about specific ports.

Do you know why there are no excursions listed for Corfu? We have thought maybe there are no excursions at that port or maybe it's a new port for this cruise itinerary and they haven't added it to their website yet. Looking at a Catamaran. Where would you suggest that as an option. Is Malta a great place to do that or Rhodes? I would like to create some balance and not too too much sightseeing but not all water days either. If you had something you loved seeing or doing I am 100% open minded to anything you have to say about any of the ports that stick out in your mind. I appreciate any support you can offer. Right now just feeling very overwhelmed with learning the area such as we did with British isles when we planned that one. It did end up being a spectacular trip just information intensive.

A Disney Cruise last visited Corfu in 2014, so DCL probably doesn't have the available excursions for 2026 worked out yet. Based on my past experience with new or not-for-a-while ports, the excursions may not be listed on the website until shortly before the 130 day mark when Concierge guests can book activities.

I have never been to any of the ports of call on your cruise (my husband and I are booked on the 9-night Mediterranean cruise leaving on June 8, 2026) but I have been on cruises to and from Rome and Barcelona. I highly recommend spending a few days at the beginning or end of your trip (and both if you can) to explore those cities. We have stayed in the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona and the Jewish Quarter in Rome, which were located within walking distance of a lot of sites.

We did this cruise in 2022, we spent 5 days in Rome prior to the cruise and then one day in Barcelona at the end. Barcelona is amazing and you need way more than a day, we did another 2 days in 2023.
We loved all of it, but it was July and things are hot and crowded so back your sunscreen and patience.
We had booked excursions in every port of course and most of them at least 7-8 hours a day, it was a lot as you know this itinerary is port heavy. Again, we loved it all but if we do it again we would probably pick some shorter port days ( but do you want to miss anything?) No so its worth it in the end, lol.

We are booked on the 2026 12 night as well, very excited! I haven’t done anything yet other than buy a Fodors guide to Greece, but I figure that’s a good start.

We have been to Barcelona and Rome before and will probably re-visit a few highlights. Lots to plan and I know it’s going to be a fun year plus getting ready!
