Anyone done either or both? Thoughts?

Initially I was booked with Captain Bob and Soualiga Destinations, but I cancelled it when I changed to the Fantasy. And I feel weird contacting him to see if there are spots left now that I have changed back to the Wonder, so I am looking at alternatives.

(Lesson learned... If the cancellation policy allows waiting, do so if you are indecisive.)

We did the 12-Metre Regatta several years ago. While it's a little hokey, we really enjoyed it. You can be as active (or not) as you want. For example my husband was still recovering from surgery, so they delegated him to iceberg watch. :P Our teenage son really got a workout though! It's a pretty short excursion which I'd classify as a fun way to kill a few hours on the island. Is it a must do? No, but if you are looking for something different vs the typical sightseeing tour or beach day, it fits the bill.

Thanks! I found some videos online and it does look fun. Do you get a say as to which of the boats you're on?

We also had done this several years ago and we all enjoyed it.
As Pens Fan posted, you can volunteer to be a part of the crew or sit back, watch and enjoy. My wife volunteered to be a 'winch wench,' my son his friend and I were grinders. A woman volunteered to hand out the refreshments. I can't remember the other positions that you could volunteer for but you really can get a work out.

Nice! Work out is good. I'll be in my minimum 12-month training for a Black Belt test by Feb (assuming I don't get injured before December and can test for my Double Black Stripe), so anything to get a good workout in is a plus. :)
