Ok. Need some answers. It has been 3 years since I have cruised and want to clarify.

1. All soda/pop is free now correct?
2. The charges are charged per room still and not per person?

I'll try to answer these for you.

1. soda is free at the drink station on Deck 9 and in the restaurants. It is not free at the clubs and bars.

2. You need to put a credit card down for each person. It will show up on a room charge, but it is charged under the person's name. Does this answer your question?

Yes that answers my question! Can they still separate it if one or both of us pays with cash?

Yes, because each charge is per person. When you look at the bill it is itemized. This would be an example when I put down the Visa and authorized my DH to be able to charge.

Sorry that I haven't posted for awhile. I am just wanting to let everyone know that we will not be going on this cruise. We have switched to a 4 nite cruise in Dec. 08 instead. We also switched our 7 nite to a St. Croix cruise in the fall of 09.

It's something that DCL sends out around 130 days before the cruise with a listing of information on excursions, stateroom gifts, DCL vacation insurance, transfers, etc.

Just a little bit of Magic in your mailbox.

I booked directly through DCL this time, but last time I used Expedia and they sent it a couple months after the ~130 day mark.

Hoooorrraaayyy! Our Ship and Shore Vacay guide came today too!! It's getting closer!! I'm going to leave mine open to the birthday cabin decor, etc. but it won't help; my DH is famously dense about that kind of stuff!! The cruise is going to be upon us soon people!! Suuuwwweeeeeeeeeet!
