I have never done the fish extender before. On our last cruise someone in our group made Christmas stockings with our family name on them and we hung them on the fish. It looked great and it was a great place for other cruisers to leave "gifts" during the week. It was so much fun to come back to the room each time and see if anyone left you something new - the kids really loved that.I don't think anything has been discussed here just yet about this kind of thing but it would be nice for everyone to have something that people could leave items in.
I really like the stocking idea since we'll be cruising that time of year. I'm totally into hanging a stocking up by our door!! I'll have to think of gift possibilities, sdefinitely something Alaskan!! Thanks Becka!!

We literally came back to something new everytime we came back to our stateroom. We had magnets, pirate stuff (tatoos, beach balls, jewelry, etc..), little toys for the kids, keychains, stickers, personalized pencils, bracelets, candy, etc.. I have already been researching what to do this cruise. I think I want to do the magnets for everyone. They looked great on the stateroom doors and once we came home we put them on our refrigerator and they are nice souveniers that we actually use and see everyday.
I am not sure he realized just what he was getting into when he said to go ahead and plan a WDW/
I think you are also right that it would take the burden off of a single person to make, pack, and distribute them. Plus, it will be neat to see what everyone comes up with and how creative they get.

Well here in Alaska on the last Monday in March we celebrate the signing of the Alaska Purchase treaty which actually happened on March 30, 1867. It is named for then-Secretary of State William H. Seward, who negotiated the purchase from Russia. Now you know.
Happy Monday to all you fellow un-Alaskan Dis'ers!
Sweet Char
i tried mcro/excel doesnt work. IFFFFFF any of you already downloaded and actually were able to open this list can you copy and paste it here or email it to me directly? I'd appreciate this very much and I'm sure many would find this useful too
Another thing I want to bring up....I'm so accustomed to the north (new york) in the winter (dec) most ppl don't wear light pastel shades... I'm feeling a little odd thinking of putting these colors in my packing. This is the norm for vacations in this month...the colors right?
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
ARRRRGGGG!
