How sweet of you to be planning ahead!

Too bad we aren't closer - we could stop in and celebrate with you!

Ahhh, yes the dust storm just flew in, I was watching a program on tornado chasers and next thing I knew, we were out pulling down the umbrella, removing the hanging candles holders that my sweet sister gave us and the chimes! Baton down the hatches - my mother used to say!

She was a "wave" I guess she knew all that terminology. Gosh, I miss my mom!

We just got back from an afternoon at Jillian's - arcade games - you should have seen my DH - his first time actually playing video games. The boxing video really did him in- he won - but he said on the way home, that really did me in!!! (ahhhh getting old!) But it was fun to watch him acting like a kid for once. Not enough "play" time - poor guy works too hard.

I know he'll enjoy the Diamonback tickets next Friday - they play the MEts - GO D'backs! (I am a yankee fan myself).:scared1:

Dee - so nice to see you pop on. DQ - I've been craving that since last night when Jackie and I were over near there having our dinner. Jose had a huge "sundae" after lunch... I was good. Just a salad.

Oh, and the margarita!!! I almost forgot about that. :rolleyes1

Margarita and a salad...sounds like perfect combo to me!;)

Oh yeah, Jackie, I remember all that. :) I thought Annette was so beautiful, I wanted to be just like her...oh well, never happened, I just stayed plain ole' Linda forever, LOL!

HEY KIDS!

Are we going to try for a group dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern on that Tuesday ADR's for LLT CAN BE MADE AT THE SAME TIME YOU BUY YOUR MVMCP tickets! So we need a quick decision! I know Janice had suggested this location (so Pat can see her pals Chip & Dale!), so I'm sure we can count her and Linda and Peg and I.

Pat/Linda...how many in your group? How shall we coordinate this, as it should be just ONE ADR for the group? AND what time can we get into the park to dine if we just have a MVMCP ticket? (I'll ask that question over on the MVMCP thread.)

Janice....are you girls home yet???? How was it???? Tell...tell...tell!

I know what you mean, I still watch those old movies and think - gosh she was just so beautiful. But why on earth didn't she just jump Frankie? :happytv:

Linda you will NEVER be plain or ole' to ME!:cool2:

I say YES - isn't that why we are all going to WDW and the cruise - to hang out???:grouphug:

Here are the prices:

Savings for Advance purchase available -- excluding Nov 16, Nov 30, Dec 6, Dec 7, Dec 13, Dec 14, Dec 16, Dec 20, and Dec 21.
$40.95 plus tax (Adults, ages 10 and up)
$33.95 plus tax (children, ages 3 to 9).

There is an AP and a DVC discount of $3 per ticket. You are charged at the time you buy the tickets and they are mailed out to you.

They DID go on sale this morning.

In the past, those who do not have park admission were able to get into the park with and ADR at 4PM (and my guess is we wouldn't want dinner before 5pm anyway). We need to decide about dinner ASAP!

EDITED TO ADD: Looks like they will start the dinner ADR's at 6PM, so we need to decide fast to avoid having dinner too late and to accomodate our group size!

Thanks for doing all this work.
What is ADR - advanced dinner reservation?
Let me talk to Linda in the morning - and I will email Jen now and we can make the decision tomorrow.

Yeah!
And yes, ADR = advanced dining reservation, they stopped using Priority Seating a while back.....just to confuse us all.

Once this is taken care of we should probably discuss any other group meals we may like to do, as the 180 day window is around the first week of June...just enough time for discussion and debate! ;) That darn Disney dining plan makes it necessary to think of some of this ADR stuff so far in advance.

OK....I'm off to check on Segway tours!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Now I want you to know, I'm going to be at Disneyland in just over two weeks and haven't given a thought about ADR's for that trip! (Well, except for the DIS meet at Storytellers.) Of course I'd be happy with visits to Bengal Bar B Que and Whitewater Snacks, oh and maybe one nice meal at Downtown Disney.

I'm thinking if we come up with at least one other time/place for a group meal, booked in advance, I'll be happy and then leave everyone in peace. Janice says Linda mentioned Whispering Canyon as a good group place (for a rowdy good time!). Some other possibilities could be Ohana, Cape May, Trails End, Boma. :confused3

hello ladies! we are back from our trip to wdw and soooo ready to start planning the next one! :coffee:

Pat - for some reason, the year I go to see Jiminy on earth day, they put chip-n-dale on the pin! i picked one up for you - linda said i looked like a litlle kid when i saw jiminy for the first time! her favorite "character/princess" is mary poppins and she had the same look when she saw her - the funny thing is linda asked to hold mary's umbrealla and mary said to her, "you may HELP me hold my umbrella. Now, stand up straight! No slouching" im still laughing when i think of that! also, we saw chip-n-dale 3 times while on this trip! we had dinner at liberty town tavern, saw them at some hidden character place and then we had lunch at the garden grill where dale got in trouble! he sat down to join us and stole the silverware off the table next to us - then he made linda and i bang our fork and knife on the table to get the waiters attention - so - the waiter comes over and says to dale, "doesnt that silverware belong on that table?" dale shakes his head no and gestered he was with us - then when he came back around he sat with us again and he brought the map of epcot and he was showing me all his favorite places and then he made me feed him watermellon! :rotfl:

Sarah - are you sitting down? somehow, linda talked me into riding on tower of terror! she had already been on it four times with theresa, but she wanted company after thersa left - so - i said i will stand in line with you but im not sure if i will ride it or not - in front of us in line was a 4 year old boy with his dad - i asked the dad, "is HE going on this?" and he said he was - the father had never been on it but his wife had just gotten off and said that both he and the son would love it - so - then i felt foolish being afraid to get on - when it was our turn to ride, and the elevator operator asked the dad how many he said, "4! we are with them" - i ended up sitting next to the little boy and since both he and the dad were scared out of their wits, i figured i had to be the brave one and talk the boy through it - i was so involved i forgot to be scared! :scared1:

jackie - the day we do the segway tour, what would you think of us doing breakfast at akerush (sp?)? i think that is my favorite breakfast place and it would give linda another shot of holding mary's umbrella! hahaha also, the second seating for meals on the cruise works for us - and we want to sit with all even if dee and win are acting like they dont know us! :3dglasses

finally, would you please clarify which night i want my mvmcp tickets for? i will have to get our annual pass id code so i can order them :santa:

see you all soon!

janice you trip sounds great chip and dale sounds funny dale can bea trouble maker lol:rotfl:
