12/6/07...Anyone with us?

Hello everyone. Welcom Jen.

There is more activity on this thread then our August cruise.

Dsis and I may be going to Disneyland the end of September right after I get back from Orlando. Who Hoo:cool1: If I could make these trips international I would be able to join Pat's club. :rotfl2:

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am not sure what dinner rotation we are on, but it would be nice if we were at least the same rotation even if it was different times. That way we could see each other coming and going.:thumbsup2

BE SURE AND LET ME KNOW ABOUT DISNEYLAND, Miss Dee! I'm always up for a Disneyland DIS meet!

I always figured we Double-dippers would link our dining and have one big table...I guess I just kind of assumed that :confused3 We sure don't have to decide that for a good while yet, and I'm cool with whatever everyone wants to do.

Rumor has it that MVMCP tickets will go on sale soon! (next two weeks)

Last year they went on sale April 28th.

Pat/Linda/Jen....have you folks considered the Disney Dining Plan?

Southwest Airlines just opened up their booking window till 11/2. Looks like we'll be waiting another 3 months before we can book this trip!

Still waiting on a 2BR but I have faith this will happen!!!

If you have cruise questions, don't be shy in asking, there are some veteran cruisers on this one!

Well, Janice and Linda are at WDW right now, staying at my favorite moderate, Port Orleans French Quarter. I love that little place!
Have fun ladies - how was Jiminy Crickett???

Four weeks from today I'll be dining at Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian with 29 other people from the '08 WB Repo cruise! That includes our old Double-dip buddies Woody73 and clynne and crew!
Give those guys a big HELLO from us all
I've got to start taking longer walks to get in training for Disneyland...becides I may have to chase after Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom, who will be there that weekend for the Pirates III premiere in Disneyland!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful spring!
80 freakin degrees here in NY

It's 80 now here too. But just. We've had the BEST spring!!!! I don't want to get you all jealous though, it will be triple digits this weekend!

How's my old stomping ground (Long Island???) I miss the beach!!! :beach: :wave2: Jones Beach, OBI - Hamptons!!!! I watch Barefoot Contessa just to see the back ground and sometimes I even cry...

MVMCP Tickets are supposed to go on sale MAY FIRST!

We're doing that Tuesday, right?

Yes, Pat, I was glad SW Airlines didn't have our dates yet do to the pending status on the resort.

I realize the Disney Dining Plan won't work for this trip if we get a resort for a week in the exchange but are only staying 5ish nights, as you have to buy the DDP for EVERY night you are booked in the resort (AND everyone in the room has to do it).

Almost time to go home...............Peg....what's for dinner at your house????? hehe

Not sure, went to Happy Hour even without my vehicle. I'm just so sad... 1,550 in truck repairs, found out we have to pay over 4K to IRS...

There goes both my DH's and my raises... it all would have been ok if I didn't have 2K in replacement trees that froze this year. TIME TO BUY A LOTTO!!!!!

Geez - I'm in such a bad mood now.

Boy it sure would be nice if we got our rooms avail this week. That would cheer me up. It would also be nice to find out if we are actually going to be IN the suite. I'm getting very nervous about never hearing from them.

When are they coming back to AZ - jackie? Next month? It will be good to visit with them, break bread and actually see that they still exist.

I wish reading the DIS would lift my spirits. But I feel like we just NEVER get ahead. I'm working my tail off, have no social life and just keep getting bills and bills. We never go out anymore, don't to go plays... rarely eat out - this is a ridiculous way to live.

Maybe we need to make some changes. Good thing I guess is that both our vehicles are almost paid off. Just in time for them to start falling apart I guess - you know I have NEVER put so much money into a vehicle as this damn suburban and it only has a little over 45K miles.

1,000 in ac repairs after warranty. 1550 in "window motor" repairs. Tires of course were expensive but that I can justify.

Now DH's little truck has a weird horn blowing situation. You just touch it and it won't shut off. What is the universe telling me????

I did get a lovely admin day gift. A spa certificate and a "basket of cookies that looked like flowers". Good thing too, my boss really made me mad last weekend. Thank God he can show his appreciation.

Ok, done complaining. :scared1: Thanks for listening.

DVC for OKW Studio during our dates 8 points per night Sun-Thu, 20 points Fri & Sat nights. Currently on the rents/trade board you can get them for $10 per point.

Have to go take Peg to get her truck and breakfast and CHEER HER UP!!

so 3 nights would be 24 points, 4 nights would be 32 = $320????
okay, thanks!

Cheer up Peg :cool1:

Do they have 'kitchenettes' with a min-frig and coffee pot?

 :grouphug:  :grouphug:  for you, Peg.

The Disney dining plan sounds lovely, but it would be a real waste of $$$ for us. A turkey leg and a bucket of popcorn fills up Sarah and I for the whole day.:) Of course, its a whole turkey leg and a whole bucket of popcorn for Ed, but we are still really cheap park attendees.

Oooo, I can hear the jets going....its Air Show day for Langley AFB. We are headed to Williamsburg for some outlet shopping today. Need to get some of those chocolate cherries for my mom for Mothers Day from Harry and David, and of course, I need a few more things for the cruise.;)

Im SOOOO much better now. Now that I've had a good breakfast, a good visit with sis and a little shopping. Miss JACKIE found a new set of luggage - for her many trips coming up! She found a great deal and will have lots of use for them.

I got some skinny hangers with velvet for my "slippy" clothes - Bed Bath & Beyond. I got my DH's request for a little "garbage" for the library (it's leather little tote/tray type thingy that looks really good in there and will serve his purpose).

I came home and steam cleaned my carpet - washed the kitchen floor, did laundry and I feel SOOO much better. I could never figure out why cleaning and doing chores always makes me feel better! I guess it puts me into mindlessness - and makes me feel productive.

I am out of crazy work mode and can finally start getting excited :woohoo: about our girls trip. It will be SO MUCH FUN so see everyone and hear all about the stories of your travels.

I can't wait to hear about all your trips - and especially the Med trip. Take lots of pictures to bring on our Surf N Turf - ok?

:grouphug: Thanks again - for letting me vent & Spit. I guess it worked!  :rotfl: :confused3 :upsidedow

As long as those nights were Sun-Thu, yes.

More like a counter area with the above. A great place to check out all the DVC resort stuff is www.allearsnet.com they have the BEST section of photos, faq pages etc for the resorts. The studios do not have a washer dryer, but there is a laundry room for guest use and it is FREE!

I wasn't as productive as Peg but did FINALLY get some groceries in the house (the kitten was very happy about that too)!

...off to check out some movie for tonight's viewing.

Peg:hug: Glad your day is going better.

Just stoped by to say hello. Sure miss all the interaction. Ahh such is life.

Well I am off to get some fuel for DH's car and sneak a moment away. Maybe we will get some DQ.:thumbsup2

Dust storm, KEWL!!! I remember those when we were living in Phoenix with my Grandma, while my dad was at sea. I was 6 then, and I thought dust storms were so neat. Of course, my mom and grandma didn't think so. There was a lot of busyness putting towels around windows and doors. I was completely oblivious; life was so much simpler when I was 6.:) I think that's why I like Disney so much.
