12/6/07...Anyone with us?

Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. We are booked on the 12/6 Wonder!

This will be our first Disney Cruise and I'm so excited! We are surprising the kids with it after our 4 night stay in WDW.

Can't wait!!!!

So great to see you! This group we've got going is such a fun group - I hope you'll meet us on board sometime! You'll love DCL - they are awesome! My first cruise was last November (7 day double dip to Castaway Cay) and I loved every minute on board. This will be my 2nd cruise and my DH and Dsis are doing the 15 night panama crossing (to LA).

How many kids? Ages?

:thumbsup2

Thanks for the welcome Peggy Jo!! (Btw, I love your quote in your signature)
I'd love to join you on board. Sounds fun!

I have 2 children--DS is 7 and DD is 5.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!!

...and check this OUT!!!

Gee, I just told DH my exciting news about the space shuttle and he said, 'yeah, but who's going on that cruise - you or me!'

Hmmmmm, I can hear this same conversation at Peggy's house! :lmao:

Couldn't stand it, had to call and tell him (Peg wasn't home yet). He says he's going to casually mention it during dinner tonight. ;)

Of course this is always subject to change but wouldn't it be exciting if we DID get to see it??? :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Cool!!!!

So that's where you've been, Patti! I called you today, left a message on your cell. Just needed to know you had your nose above all that water in New York.;)

Is that your kitty? He's so pretty!

Welcome Jen and family! Where are you staying at WDW before the trip? A mess of us will all be there too. Some of us will be a SSR and some of us are still at 'resort pending' status! If you have cruise questions, don't be shy in asking, there are some veteran cruisers on this one!

Well, Janice and Linda are at WDW right now, staying at my favorite moderate, Port Orleans French Quarter. I love that little place!

Four weeks from today I'll be dining at Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian with 29 other people from the '08 WB Repo cruise! That includes our old Double-dip buddies Woody73 and clynne and crew! I've got to start taking longer walks to get in training for Disneyland...becides I may have to chase after Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom, who will be there that weekend for the Pirates III premiere in Disneyland!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful spring!

We are staying at the Polynesian before the cruise. It is funny how it all worked out actually.

My mom is going with us and she is a smoker, so she needs the navigator's verandah on the ship. Well when you book that you get to choose a deluxe resort. Our family was just going to do a Cat 12 and a moderate resort and she was just going to downgrade to the moderate resort (of course with no refund) and stay with us.

Well the more she got to thinking about it, the more she decided she wanted us all to stay at the Poly and have connecting Navigator Verandah Suites on the ship, so we all upgraded. Thanks Mom!!!!!

We are really excited to stay at the Poly because it is right on the monorail. We plan to spend a LOT of time at MK before the cruise, so that will make it very convenient.

The only downside is that we won't be able to be on the dining plan because we booked it as a land/sea package. We will definitely miss that, but we figure we will eat really well on the ship so we can do more counter meals at WDW. It is going to be time to make ADRs really soon!! :woohoo:

Johnny Depp/Orlando Bloom.....ooooo you are so lucky! Please give that handsome Woody and lovely Carolyn a big hug for me.:)

Jen, how wonderful you get to stay at the Poly! That monorail is so convenient.

And....we're coming up with a plan B when the girls get back...

Probably will just expand the resort parameters....details to follow.

Hey....I've been meaning to ask: Are you guys cool with requesting TAP rotation (8PM seating) for our group?

LAP is fine with me...is that 8pm?
Since we will all be THERE (in Orlando) already, it won't be a problem to get ready for dinner.....just check with Linda

Cool, :cool1: that's what we would have asked you to do. Now we wait on the pixie dust! (Watch, they'll come back with Wilderness Lodge Villas...probably the place we'd least likely want to be.)

Hey do you know if you must have park admission AS WELL AS MVMCP tickets? Or does an MVMCP ticket get you into the park that evening all on it's lonesome? We're probably just getting a three day hopper and we have four days to cover. If we don't need admission plus the MVMCP ticket, we could use Tuesday as our non-park day...up till time for the party.

...can you tell it's a very quiet day at work....everyone is out for training....
