Ok. I picked the song...... I had to come up with one quick -- I had just arrived ar RBD when Cheryl starts asking me questions... that was the only song name I could think of! LOL!!!!
Like I said yesterday... we should have done a Getchen Wilson song!!! *I'm just here for the Party*.
Or maybe that song that came out this summer by Kid Rock... It is one of my new favorite songs!



Y'all did great!!! It takes GUTS (and maybe liquor) to get up there with just the 2 of you!!!!!



David... I do wish the repo was the end of August instead -- mainly because I know it would work out better for friends to be with us and Samantha will be in College then.... She will be attending a local one (she wants to live at home) but, I'm not sure about her missing the first couple of weeks......

The older two kids we wouldn't have cared if they went with us when they wee that age (in fact we wouldn't have taken them! LOL!) BUT, we really like Samantha! She's much nicer at this age then they were!

She was really excited when she heard me make next Sept's ressie for WDW. She didn't think I would include her! LOL!

Did you happen to tape Chrissie and me singing "I Got You Babe" on karaoke night? I know I sing terribly, which is why my friends don't believe me that I did karaoke. The last time I did, close to 20 years ago, my friend and I got booed (we deserved it!).

Nope - definitely NOT good dates for the repo. It seems weird since DCL knows it is harder to sell the transatlantic repo anyway and knocking out all the families with school age kids seems silly. September would be really bad since it is 2 weeks of school right at the beginning when they are learning the teachers style. April might be better, but I think State testing is sometime that month and they DO NOT react well to anyone missing that!

Well, I guess we wait for the announcment and hope the rumors are a little off....

Maybe the Transatlantics were light on the number of kids, so they figure its adults only and they might sell more in a non-kid time?

Well there definitely will not be any repos for me if the rumors are true.
I also suspect I will not be willing to pay out the $$$$ for a Baltic/Mediterrean cruise either. I guess I will wait til 10/7 but my enthusiam is definitely less.

The autumnal equinox was this morning at 11:44 AM + 16 seconds - so for folks on the east coast ... FALL has arrrived about 13 minutes ago!

As for the new cruises and rumored schedule (leak) ... We are definately unable to take huge time once school starts - for us that's the mid week before labor day... so September sailings are OUT. Next year we begin getting letter grades in 3rd grade so we'll want to keep Julianna in school untl we determine how shes' adjusting to the new environment.

Aside from that - I wonder whether any of these sailings will work out for us. I would really like a MED cruise versus any of the other ones - so it seems these are going to be our 1st area of interest - that is assuming there are no convenient or preferable alternatives.

We would probably not have interest in any Wonder sailings as 5 and 4 days is simply not enough given the distance we have to travel from Los Angeles.

Oh well...

I agree with hating the possible repo dates for 2010 and I don't know if we'll be able to pull off the other possible cruises, at least for the whole family. Heck it may be cheaper to do 2 or 3 Wonder cruises back to back....and then add WDW...LOL

Funny you should say this but when I arrived home this evening, I noticed how much darker it was outside the house - I'm typing this and it isn't even 3:00pm in Florida

The Repo dates are no good for us as in April 2010 Alex will just about be starting his A'Level exams with the results in the second week of August.

Then, about the start of the third week in September, he will be leaving home to start University. Like you, the end of August would be perfect.

The fact that he wants his own stateroom are irrelevant - we want him to come.
