12-5-05 crowds?

We will be going to the park the week of 12-5-05 for 6 nights. We have gone at least 30 times since the park opened but never at this time. Just hoping that it is not to crowded. We usually go in Jan. but are going to the Christmas party on the 8th. Certain days that the parks are most crowded?

You should be fine. I went that week last year and also twice a few years back. POP Warner is on that week but we didn't find them to have that much of an impact on the crowds apart from at the bus stops and the value resorts ( I was on a travel agents trip and we visited various hotels). We did use fastpass on some occassions but a lot of the time it wasn't necessary, waits were under 15 minutes for most attractions.

If I had a choice of any week in the year this is the week I would choose every time due to the holiday decorations being up and the low crowds. Try and avoid the parks on the days they have Extra Magic Hour if you are not using this yourself and you will do great.

This is the week we went last year. The weekend days were busy but overall much less crowded than other times of the year. This is one of the slowest times of the year for WDW.

watch out for lots and lots of screaming cheerleaders--especially if you are at a value resort!
